[Resolved]  Vodafone — Misguided for Postpaid plan

Address:Gujarat

HI,
I am a vodafone user having mobile no. +91 [protected]. I was using CUG plan of reliance industries. But since i have switched to iPhone the Internet service i had under my CUG plan was no longer applicable. Hence, i contacted customer care on 18 th sep for guidance. Customer care executive asked me to go for 149 rs (2GB) data plan. After two days i came to know that i m not eligible for this plan again i requested them to change my plan and explained that i am having a CUG plan and i want to use Internet connection. On 16 th Oct 2012 at 2.04 PM, i spoke to customer care executive (Ms./Mrs. Dhara trivedi) regarding my problem, she advised me to go for 199 rs (2.5 GB) data plan an assured me that i am eligible for it. Again to my surprise i got message from vodafone saying i'm not eligible for it. Having frustrated i requested for change of my postpaid scheme to prepaid scheme and spoke to Mr.Kaushik pandya who again console me and said dont worry your 199 rs (2.5 GB) plan will get activated within 48 hours.

When i got the same message again on 18th Oct 2012, I strongly asked customer care executive Mr. Mahendrasinh thakur to change my postpaid plan to prepaid plan, he asked me what problem i am facing and why i want to change my postpaid plan to prepaid plan? i explained him everything. Then he came up with one offer, he said sir we have a special benefit plan for you in which you'll have to pay 99 Rs rental and 115 Rs for 2GB free usage of Internet. I agreed and they changed my CUG plan to vodafone special benefit plan. Now after 4 days when the Internet service was not activated i contacted customer care again and spoke to Ms./ Mrs. Janki she said sir Sunday was non-working day hence, it took some time but dont worry your scheme will get activated before 6.00 on 23 oct 2012. At 6.05 PM i contacted area supervisor Mr. Salil Khoja who told me that you are again not eligible for 115 Rs 2 GB plan and we are sorry that our executive have misguided you and we have registered a complaint against him. I said it was not my fault that i was misguided you revert the changes i dont mind. He said for that you'll have to go back to your previous employer's executive who has given you this CUG plan. I disagreed as i cant go back there i am far away and i dont have his contact no as well. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME I'VE BEEN HARRASSED LIKE THIS. In January 2012 also vodafone charged me with 2000 Rs extra on my bill which later they waved off after accepting their mistake. I FEEL I WAS CHEATED and i am not going to make any payment henceforth as it was not my mistake.

Please do the needful in this matter

Thanks and Regards,
Vodafone user

Vodafone — Miss Guidance by Vodafone Executives

My # [protected]

Kamla nagar Vodafone store executive were misleading me and not ready to convert my post paid connection into prepaid one.
I deposited full and final payment at Vodafone store on 28/03/2010 for Rs 1140 so as to convert the Post paid connection into Prepaid as per adviced by the Vodafone kamla nagar Executive.(which included the rent till 10th April10)which they charged in advance for whole month.
They desptroyed my post paid card and told me that your prepaid card will get activated after 10th April only.
However when I called cust care next day, they told me that still Rs 374 balance is coming in that number which i need to pay. and they havnt got any request for CONVERSION as well.
May I know why you are mis leading the customer like this. For what this Rs374 is still out standing when the executive has destroyed my card and gave me the new one.

Call centre guys cut the call 4 times without transferring the call to supervisors.

WHAT IS THE STATUS OF MY REQUEST!!!
Is this the way you deal with your old customers. Please disconnect my connection if you cannot provide me any satisfactory anwser.

I totally agree with Maulik.

I am a corporate user and in spite repeated email to corporate helpline I haven't received any response. How can we expect some help for normal users?

If you can do something about this than we will be "HAPPY TO USE".

Vodafone — I am not allowed to use the new plan offers

I am using Vodafone connection since the last 3 years approx. and I am using "299 @ 50 plan"

I realised that 4 weeks back Vodafone is offering Rs. 175 plan which has more free STD + Local and comparetevly better plan then what i am currently using.

I called up customer care atleast 20 times and got different versions which was
- There is no such plan
- This is a Corporate Plan
- This plan is only for customers taking number porability
- You can get this plan activated from Vodafone Retail Outlet only

then finally when one lady told me that okay i shall forward your number for "175 plan" and it will take another 4-5 days to get activated but nothing happened. Again i called up customer care 5 days after that and they told me that plan has already expired.

then i asked them to give me a complain number stating whatever is communicated to me, but again that customer care guy gave me a wrong complain number which never existed.
Miss-guiding pre-paid and new customers by Vodafone exec.s is at best seen only in Vodafone. They are trained for it and they do it very well. First they lure you by offering Big and numerous services for a small amt. eg. Rs.100/-. and on acceptance will escalate the final figure to thousands and monthly bill will come in Lacs.
For this you should have any evidence such as voice records or email copies of your intimation.
Then proceed on your zone Nodal in police under IPC 408, 415 and 420, and simultaneously in civil court under 36A of
The Monopolies And Restrictive Trade Practices Act, 1969..
