[Resolved]  Vodafone — Misinformation / Bad Customer Service

This is regarding my vodafone postpaid number [protected]. It is a CUG (closed user group) number.

Ten months ago ( Nov'12 ) my plan was changed by vodafone without my consent and a random charge of Rs.711 was charged to me according to new plan. When asked from customer care about this charge, they replied that it is advanced rental for the coming year. My direct answer was that i want to close this number. The customer care person says to me that i cant close this number until i pay my bill that included 711 as well.

Now why would i use postpaid instead of prepaid when i want to pay in advance. The executive also explains that for the next months there will be no additional charges and monthly charges on this plan and i will be charged for calling only. So i decided to continue with this as i had no option and i certainly did not want to pay 711 just to close that connection.

Then next month i am charged with monthly rental. I explain my problem to customer care and the person says if i have been charged advanced rental this should not be done and it will be fixed in next bill. But it did not get fixed, so i talk to the person handling our CUG corporate users. He says that this would be fixed. I get a refund of Rs. 297 after this in my next bill.

To my dis-relief i get charged with monthly rental again in my next bill. this keeps going on till 3 months and me fighting on customer care for resolution. Then i contact my group handler again and he replies me that refund will be made and he also tells me that my plan was never supposed to get changed without my consent.

No its nine months since then and i again get charged with 711 as advance rental and obviously i cant stop the number until i pay the full bill including this amount.

I have stopped paying my bill as i did not want to get into problems of asking them afterwards for my own money of refund. It should have been balanced with my existing bill.

Now i only wish to close this number but i do not want to pay additional money to this company trying to use their fraudulent tactics of misinforming its users.

I have been using airtel prepaid for past 6 years and never had such a headache, also had reliance postpaid for 3 yrs

I am from ABES Engineering College and a member of its CLOSED USER GROUP from VODAFONE. A couple of months ago our plans were revised for advanced rental of Rs.736 for an year and a new plan and after confirmation from Customer Care and you folks we found that we wont have to pay any more monthly rental but still there a monthly rental of Rs. 99 in our bills ( bills attached ). As i talked to Mr. Sushil, He says we are entilted for a refund. Kindly let us know about the matter.

Vodafone Postpaid — bad service

dear sir,
just last week i converted my vodaphone preepaid conection [protected] to post paid, and i had taken a plan with rental 499/ in which i was told that i have 665 min free and 400 sms free, but yesterday my cell services has been barred, no incoming and out going.
i called on 111, on which first i heard that my unbilled amount is Rs2263 then they are saying my due is rs336, i treid to talk on[protected] one o[censored]r customer care no, first one lady picked up the phone and assured me that she will call back to me after having the detailes but she did not, and when i tried to call her again she disconnected my call several times at last after an hour of continous calling one person has picked up the phone and again assured me that he will get back to me.
kindly update me regardin the problem, i am getting unnecessary tension, pls rvert back soon or else i will proceed the matter forward.

Vodafone — Vodafone - Appalling Service

I have been using vodafone for many years. Call drops, network congestion, deactivation while roaming, lapses in value added services, etc are frequent. They call me a premium customer (according to their executives)!! If this is what they do with premium costomers, what would be the plight of others? There had been times, for days, my phone has not worked!!

I suggest, they rename themselves to VOIDFONE and their Vice President is redesignated to President - Vices, which would be more befitting.

Vodafone — Vodafone Billing is Bad

Vodafone’s customer service starts calling one week after you paid off your last bill and will harass you until you pay the next. This cycle goes on. I understand they need to follow up and what they are dong is pure harassment. If Vodafone spends half the money in genuinely improving their customer service, instead of hiring a dozen call centers to just do the mass calls, many customers would have been far happier.

I was at the vodafone shop at Church Street, Bangalore with a friend of my to pay her postpaid bills. The guy who took the bill did not even greet us well and he forced on himself a smile when i smiled. The same was when i was leaving the shop. Not that I wanted him to, but guess thats a general courtesy when some customer comes to your shop.
The Chinese said " If you dont know how to smile, dont open a shop". Maybe your guys would need a nice dose of soft skills training before they are given the charge of customer relationship building.

Vodafone — Bad customer service.

Dear concerned,

I am Vodafone customer from last 4 years.
I had a complaint towards the free talk time which was offered by Vodafone recharge offer.
I have called more than 5 times to customer care for the same concern without resolving the concern they blocked my outgoing call to customer care.
Please ask them to clarify how they will block the outgoing call(Customer care) without resolving my query. Will they pay amount which I made a call from land line to customer care for the same issue.

Vodafone — bad customer care service

Continuously I used to get call and msg frm them regarding their scheme,
I went for the scheme of 1 ps/sec by paying 64 Rs. then i had a balance of 28 RS . but after some time I found my balance is -52 Rs. I called them to talk abt this.
They asured me that they will give my money back after my 5th call.
but still they havnt done that. Its almost 10 days now. They have blocked me number as well.

we are requiring some offers to satisfy the home network customer only not for all even though FAMILY AND FRIENDS numbers Only Free Calling By Collecting Specific Amount BONUS card (OR) Rent.
Please Get Action On These Matters As Soon As To Your Level.
