There was no conversation today and I had asked the Relationship manager to call during business hours, as I got a call at 8 in the evening when it was inconvenient for me to talk. And as per your suggestion I had tried to use the services on a 3G enabled handset but did not receive any 3G settings . Later, I called the customer service to get the setting on the phone which was a Samsung Galaxy S. The customer service executive however informed me that there is no such offer activated and I am not active on 3G. And now also I get a reply stating "as per our conversation" when there has been no conversation in regards to a resolution.

As mentioned below I tried using the 3G plan from a different phone. But the phone could not connect to the internet and I couldn't see the 3G sign anywhere. When I contacted the customer care even they could not provide me any solution to it by saying that they don't have any such plan.
This is highly unacceptable and I would like a refund for the money failing which I would be forced to take serious action by moving the complaint to RTI.

I have been using the number[protected] for the past one year. Today I made a recharge for Rs. 1000 and an offer for 1000MB 3G data, 1000 local/national SMS, and 1000 min Local/National call got activated on it. As this was not done on purpose and was an honest mistake, I would want that the scheme gets deactivated and my account should be credited with the Talk Time of same amount.

Also, the offer is of no use to me because I am using a Blackberry curve 8520 wherein I activate the 399 BIS plan every month and the phone does not even support 3G Services. I also have the local calls @ 30 paise activated on my number and don’t have any STD calling nor do I send too many SMSes. However since I cannot stop using the phone, please take necessary action and credit the account with the appropriate talk time on pro rata basis at the earliest.

Quick action would be highly appreciated as I have been a loyal customer of Vodafone for more than 6 years, and have recharged for approx. Rs. 1000 every month.

Vodafone Mobile Service — Poor Service Mobile as well as customer

Dear Vodafone Customer care and problem solver,

My Vodafone mobile no. is [protected]. The sim card is purchased about 15 days back, and it is registered in Mumbai.

Even when I am in Mumbai, my friends call me on my another Airtel number and complain that they are receiving a pre-recorded message that "this number ([protected]) is not in existance". This happens with people trying to contact me from Mumbai local as well as out station.

When I try to contact Vodafone cusomer care (111), there are all the pre-recorded questions with multiple buttons to be pressed in which I can not find my solution. I can not speak to anybody to express my problem.

When contacted Vodafone ministore in Kandivali west, Mathuradas road, from where the sim was purchased, the person on counter replied: they dont receive QC checked sim cards from Vodafone company and now customer has to run from pillar to post to set right thier problems.

Will Vodafone look in to this type of my problem and solve it? and reply me suitably?

Vodafone — Poor Customer Relationship

Hi.
There is not one, but many problems with vodafone. I had recharged with Rs.61 pack. I recharged after getting an SMS from vodafone saying that on recharge with that amount all STD calls will be 50paise per min and each day I will have 100 free SMS at my disposal. After recharging with that amount I was baffled to see that Re.1 was deducted from my account for sending an SMS. I immediately contacted the Vodafone customer care. They said it will take 24hrs from the recharge time for the service to get activated. After a day or so, I sent an SMS; much to my exasperation I found that again Re.1 was deducted from my balance. I contacted them again, this time they had something else to say. They said that for Rs.61 pack, 100SMS are free only after deducting Re.1 on every first SMS of a day. But, nothing like that was mentioned in the SMS which I got regarding the recharge plan. I sent a mail to the Vodafone Nodal officer regarding this. Even their top level officials were as apathetic as their customer care center counterparts More than a week had passed I didn't get any response from them.
I have another complaint. I had once recharged with Rs.39 pack, and I continued to do so for subsequent months. After which I found that they were automatically deducting that amount (Rs.39) from my balance. I let go off it since I anyway want to recharge with that amount every month. After about an year or so, I found that there is another recharge plan which is even more alluring than the Rs.39 plan. So I wanted to shift to that plan (Rs.61 plan). I called the customer care center to deactivate the Rs.39 plan; else every month Rs.39 will be deducted from my account.
They said they will do so, and sent me an SMS intimating me the registration number, the date and time before which they will respond. That date passed and on the next day I got an SMS asking whether my request has been fulfilled satisfactorily. I Presumed that the request was that for the deactivation of the Rs.39 plan, as nothing else was specified in that SMS. Still, I don't know whether Rs.39 plan has been deactivated. No one called me for sent an SMS regarding the status of my request, but instead they were really interested in knowing my feedback.
I changed to Vodafone from Airtel mainly because of my prenotion that MNCs are better i customer relationship than Indian companies. But now I learned the hard way that my prenotion was totally debauched.
The next thing I would want to do is get rid of this service provider as soon as possible viz, once my account balance is over. And would never turn towards Vodafone; will also recommend my friends and family members to get rid of Vodafone.

Vodafone — Prepaid Mobile Service

I got a prepaid connection from vodafone 15 days before. they barred my incoming and outgoing even after i submitted the required proof 3 times. i visited their (Sharjapur ) shop and compliant about the same for more than 5 times, still they are saying "we will activate" like that. Vodafone is entirely poor customer service. Dont prefer vodafone in karnataka....
