[Resolved]  Vodafone Postpaid — Harrasment and threatning call by Vodafone

After six months of disconnection of Mobile No. [protected], i received a threating call from Delhi Police Commisioner on the 3rd December afternoon, that he has an arrest warrant in my name and will come to arrest me at 6pm. He gave me the
number of an Advocate J.R. Mishra [protected]. he asked me to call him and try to settle the matter or else he will get the cops in front of my home in the evening. i was petrified and terrified and fainted at the very first thought of it.
When my colleagues in office called the advocate, he asked to pay an amount of 2510/- immidiately and send across a mail with the bill receipt to address [protected]@vodafone.com
i requested for a dissconnection of my number on the 2nd of June as i got a job in Bangalore and had to move from Delhi. My account also showed a bill plan change which i never requested for. they made me pay 2510/- against an outstanding of 2380/-(i got to know this when i went at Vodafone and checked my account)
I am 21years old and a Low BP patient, who is staying alone in Bangalore without family for the first time in my entire life. the kind of threatening that they gave me could taken life out of me. I in the past six months never received any reminder of any outstanding bill . because i cleared all the payments before getting the number dissconneted(they dont dissconnet without clearing the dues!!!) . my current number is [protected], i request you to take some action, as i am still not over the whole senario. you can understand how it must have been for a person who has never even seen a police station apart from in movies.

Idea Cellular — Took money for Converting Prepaid to Postpaid..but never converted and never showed up since then

I received a call from IDEA Cellular for converting my prepaid number to Postpaid . They also sent an executive for the same to my home address, who took Rs500 /- fee for the same and handed me over a Carbon copy form as a proof of receipt of money.
Now more than a week has passed, neither my number has converted to postpaid, nor they have any clue of my status. I am clueless where to go for the same.

Vodafone Postpaid — number not activated, even after 5 working days

I have applied for a new vodafone postpaid connection.Even after submitting all required documents, number is not activated yet. Also calling them 100 times, no one responds. Its really pathetic service offered by vodafone, as compared to airtel.
If you want to take new connection, executives will be behind u, but once taken, no one will pick the call.

Dear Team,

Good Afternoon.

Thank you for your services.

We would like to introduce ourselves as corporate customers of yours by the name of "Blue Beacon" Electronic Security Systems Pvt. Ltd. based in Sector-67, MOHALI. For quite sometime now we are using your services (cell phone numbers) 30 phone numbers in totality.

Our concern is with your services, since we are expanding our base, so do the employee strength is also bound to increase. We approached your representative Mr. Charu [protected] on Sept'14.2010 to add new numbers for our staf[censored]nfortunately till date we are just following him, he took away all the relevant documents from us, handed-over couple of SIM cards with a free commitment that the SIMs shall be activated within a snap. On the other hand our Sales Team started distributing their respective business cards which are carrying their individual cell phone numbers. Now you can very well calculate the loss we are incurring, don't you think this is a bit expensive affair to remain loyal with you???. We can understand your problems, but you don't. We can't afford to lose our business interests which are directly propositional to our relationship.

Once again this is our humble appeal to kindly look into the matter pragmatically and try to address our grievances which are growing with the passage of time.

Waiting for your response.......

Thanks with Regard,

ALOK SAINI

Complaint Details:- Please note that today on 10th October 2010, I recharged my vodafone prepaid account ( phone number – [protected] ) with an amount of Rs. 89.

I was not aware that this bonus card has been expired as I was using the same bonus card since 1year. However all of a sudden they stopped this bonus card & I was not informed about this. When I tried calling Customer Service, there was no response from them. I talked to 5 people stating themself to be a supervisor & were not able to give me a genuine reason for this fault. No one I talked in Customer Service able to give me appropriate information.

Quote:
This recharge was done through my bank account & it has already been debited for the amount of Rs. 89 & as per customer service agent they will not credit me amount balance or bonus card. My money will not be refunded back to my bank account.

I find this argument strange and unethical to say the least. I do not see the reason why I should suffer for the new schemes which keep coming up these about which I as a customer was not informed. In the end I am feeling cheated !

I request you to kindly give me my money back to my bank account or credit my phone number with the account balance falling which I will take up this matter with cunsumer forum and TRAI. I hope you will not force your valued customer to take such a harsh step and bring this matter to satisfactory end.

Vodafone — Ask for payments of services that were never used

Hi, took one postpaid connection from Vodafone sometime in June 2010. Finding hopeless network service at my residence in Jogeshwari Mumbai, thought of dropping the connection.
* On July 31st i did pay something more than Rs 400 at a Vodafone store next to Vashi Station in Navi Mumbai.
* They also asked me to fill one physical form and reason to drop the connection.
* The executive there said that the connection will be terminated in next 4 working days and there is no amount due for this account.
--
Now they keep on sending bills every month and keep on calling and bother me every now and then.
They say that they have not recieved any such request from my side regarding closure of this connection.
I done have any reciept for that and not sure how to go ahead.

Please ask Vodafone to nto bother customers and not use tricks to earn money by wrong ways.
Sorry missed to mention the number here.. the above complaint is for number [protected]

Vodafone — Billed for Non Activated service

Hello,

I have been charged for ISD Messaging Services, which i never activated from my side , i never given any request to vodafone for activating ISD service to my number. When i enquired about it, vodafone is telling international service is a basic service, and it is defualt service and no need of submission of request to enable the international service.
As common citizen of india, as a common person how can i expect international service is part of basic service. Its voilation of TRAI regulations. I put below two queries to Vodafone 2 and half month before and periodically i am enquiring about it. Even vodafone legal dept doesnt have information regarding my concerns. Simply they activated international service and charged for it by mentioning defualt service . We indian people know that, international service cannot be a common basic service to him/her. This is common sense. The vodafone made a voilation of TRAI rules and telling the international service is basic service.
Below is my queries to Vodafone raised 2 months before and till today no response from vodafone .
Query 1 : In which clauses or drafts of TRAI ( Telecom Regulatory Authority of India), mentioned International messaging service(ISD Messaging Service) is part of basic service provided by service provider ?

Query 2 : If International Messaging Service is not part of basic services, then why Vodafone Activated ISD Messaging services to my registered Vodafone mobile number without my knowledge ?

Thanks
Sachin Naik

Vodafone — transfer of phone numbers

Dear Sir,

I am using the phone no since last one year. this phn no [protected] is issued on the name of my friend ritika verma.

I have submitted my ID proof and NOC from ritika verma to the executive of vodafone who collected it from me 15 days before and executive assure me the number will transfer to u very soon.

but its not like that . i contact to vodafone store rohini then they simply said we did not get any documrnt form you regarding that till yet

A lot of times diffferent executives called to collect for the documents. but when i subitted the documents they even do not know who is collected the documents form me.

so this is proper miscommuication between them .
just because of them i suffer alot.

So now again when i went to Vodafone store regarding that executive said you again subit the document.

i just get reed of that.

please do the necessary action at the earliest

Vodafone — complaint not dealt with

Vodafone did not reply to correspondance or telephone calls regarding a false bad credit that they put on Experian. Eventually we have spoken to someone who now says it will be taken off in 8 to 10 days from today and not from the first date we complained which was over a week ago. We cannot sort out a mortgage until this has been sorted and through no fault of our own we may not lose our home. Thanks Vodafone for being so incompetant and unhelpful.
