[Resolved]  Vodafone — Services are pathetic

I had requested for 3g tariff change on june 25th 2013 for 2gb unlimited. Customer service team said that the change will be effective in 2 hours.
Instead they had deactivated my 3g services completely for 2 days, when i called customer care i was given all rubbish reasons that application is down, the activation will take 48 hours etc.,.

I kept on calling customer service daily and no one was able to solve my query, instead they started blaming my samsung note 2 that phone has a problem as my 3g plan is already active.

This went for next 3 more days and i was totally frustrated and asked for team leader or floor supervisor to answer my call, but i continusouly told that they all are busy and i will be a call back within 24 hours. I never received any call. Again i called and this time i said i will be online and wait till their floor supervisor hungs up his call and answer mine, the executive put me on hold saing that supervisor will pick my call once he finishes his call i waited for 1hour 30 mins and no one turn down, this happened for two days.

Finally i clearly told the executive that this call is getting recorded, so hear carefully "i am not going to pay the bill and you can do what ever you want"

Now collection team is calling me everyday for bill payment and i am clearly telling them that am not paying it, they say ok and next day there will be an other call from different guys asking to pay the bill.

Their english is so pathetic, some time i have to struggle to understand. This is most worst experience.

Vodafone — Customer care is pathetic...

I have been asking these people to create my id in my vodafone so that i can retreive my important nos. I have been calling them for about 10 days. Every time they say it will be done within 24 hours. But nothing has been done. They can't bloody do these small things, i am surprised how they are popularising their bloody slogan happy to help. Foolish.

One of the reference no. Is [protected]. I dont know whether i can hope if anything will be done.

Lets see.

I m trying customer care no. Ie 111 from last many days... But the call wasn't transfered to executive... The services are so pathetic... I dont kno how they run their organisation with so many negative feedbacks...

Vodafone — Ireelevant changes and Pathetic customer service

I have been using Vodaphone postpaid connection since almost 5 years .Recently since last couple of years I am having issues and not receiving the bill .Inspite of sending emails and calling the customer care there is no proper response .I was receiving the bills via email since last 4-5 months i have not been receiving that as well and pon speaking to Vodaphone cust care they say that option is deactivated (without my knowledge).
I have also been receiving ISD incoming wronmg no's and always receive a pop up message "please allow the SIM to send a message".

Guess there is some misusage on the no.When i spoke to cust care about the Pop up message and sky high bill , there response was i will have to change my number by paying Rs 50 addl .

Its been such a poor service and so now cancelling the services.
I have posted this so that all those who get this message probably can keep a track of their bill.

Vodafone — Pathetic Service (No Customer Care)

Today (15th August 2010, Independence Day), I witnessed pathetic service from Vodafone, worst process gaps and worst Service Level Agreement (SLA) from Vodafone.

on 14th Aug, I recharged a prepaid number for 250rs. from Vodafone.in (online transaction). I received an email from Vodafone that the transaction is successful. However, even now my phone is not recharged. I spoke to Vodafone customer care. They do not see that transaction in their system. They see this as a 'technical problem' and it will take 5 working days to 'credit' that amount into my bank account. However, there is no solution from them to charge the phone.

They later suggested to try a similar transaction from ICICI online a/c if vodafone online site is not working. I immediately tried through ICICI online a/c and recharged for the same amount 250rs. I got the transaction confirmation but the phone is not recharged. I spoke to Vodafone customer care. Instead of resolving this issue, they said that I have raise a complaint after 4 working days to get my money back.

This is a basic problem. I recharge online. I get a confirmation. But, the phone is not recharged. Very basic. I am shocked and suprised to see vodafone does not have a solution to this.

I happen to do this transaction for my mother who has gone on a work to Mumbai and is alone.She only has 9rs. in her mobile charge. I explained this to Vodafone and vodafone is not able to understand the actual problem. They refer to a process that deals with "money back" and forgets to have a "human touch".

If this continues, I do not think they can survive in India. They have a serious issue in their system and their customer care makes it even pathetic.

Above all, I first got a Kerala Vodafone Customer care number. It never talked about call charge (for that call). Whereas, when I called Mumbai Vodafone Customer care number, it says 50paise for 3 minutes. The process is different for different cities. I am not sure why.

Worst system and worst customer care I have ever seen. No wonder why Airtel beats them hands down!

Vodafone Customer Care executives put customers on hold for 20 minutes at a stretch!
Vodafone Customer Care deteriorating every single day.

They have trouble locating my house during address verification process and do not even bother to give a call at the number provided by them to help them in locating the address

then their verification executives go and complain that address verification could not be done and disconnect the services.

then i call up the customer care and get the services re-activated and make a request for re-verification

this cycle has been going on for that past 6 weeks now

my vodafone gets disconnected every 3rd day!

And when i call the customer care i am put on hold every time for atleast 20 minutes!!!!
no value for customer's time.
this is torture by vodafone!

Sub: 3 good reasons to abandone vodafone and switch to other service provider.

1) attitude driven customer service - called on evening of 06 dec'2010, answered by heena - ccexe., i requested for the bill amt that required to be paid on my husbands account. For verification, i confirmed his dob, bachelor address (As this is his old no. & an fomer information were mentioned on record & we were married for the past 5 months), only i couldn't confirm the room no. The agent refused to to provide tiffle information as to billing amt (I wanted to pay it dont you understand). The conversation was going no where so i asked for a supervisor to which she said, she can't, it doesn't matter if i complained, wow!!! Attitude huh.. And this not the first time and vodafone doesnt care.

2) to many language's voice recording - miss on one of its payment, vodafone makes sure that ur life is miserable. When i subcribed to vodafone, i made it sure that i wanted all communication in one language, then why 3 languages voice recording for payments.

3) fake concern for customers - vodafone has no genuinity & they dont care, if they actually did use their recorded customer calls for training then why such poor customer service. You do show that you are trying to set thing right by following futile procedure... The end result is that you have useless customer service.
I agree about their Pathetic Service.
I faced a Similar situation.
I recharged my Mobile Online for Rs 222 on 10-jan-2011 using ICICI Internet banking. I was not redirected back to the Vodafone Site but my amount was deducted. The Transaction Failed, but amount deducted
I did another Transaction of Rs 222 using dircetly my debit card and the Transaction was successfull. I got a recharge of Rs 222.
But the earlier amount deducted is not refunded back to my account till date.
They ask for Transaction Id which they claim is sent as SMS. I donot have any transaction Id.
Why can't they just refund the Money to the Bank account which credited Rs 222. Why the Onus is on Consumer to give the Transactoion Id. this is looting money as after a while people are fed up of calling customer care and leave it.
Just a Basic Process of Refund is not set properly for failed Transaction. I am from IT and understand How pathetic their Systems are. The onus of providing the Transaction Id shouls not be with the Consumer. if he had so much Time why wd he do an Internet banking Transaction to recharge

Hi m poonam thakur a vodaphone customer, Just pissed of by the vodaphone service, The customer care representative was not able to answer the query he was so dumb even to understand the Query.He was not interested in answering the query he was totaly throwing deaf years towards the customers

He was Very dumb in answering the query.
He was not listening me properly. As if he dnt wna reply.
He was not ready to listen I kept asking him hello are u listening???? He said sorry once thn agn started wth same thing.
Then atlast I said ur sleeping kya m saying hello hello from here ur not responsing after tht he kept quiet and didn’t responsded only thn I disconnected cal 4m my side.
I have given my contact number [protected] on the above adress mentioned and waiting for call.
Am not writing nor calling anywhere as I have had enough conversation and wasted time, yesterday I got a call from some one asking what is the issue. I told him go to https://www.consumercomplaints.in read the issue and then call me back.

I am not going to pay the bill as I have had enough from vodafone.
