Voda is charging a wrong amount for internet charges because i ported my number to another service provider. I have clarified voda executive several times, who called me ‘n’ number of times to please defer/waive off the wrong charges (especially internet charges as i was using the ) but they are listening. and sometimes a guy calls me and wave off 500/- and sometimes more. He negotiates as if i am buying a vegetable. the whole amount they have shown in my bill is wrong and i am not accountable to pay any wrong charges.

I asked the voda billing agent that incase during the transit time( time taken to port from voda to another service provider) If there are any call charges pls inform, I will pay that. It is already frustrating as the customer has switched to another service provider so voda are harassing me by calls and mails.
I have already told VODA many a times that there is no outstanding bill on my side. 442/- (month april- i paid) was the outstanding bill which I paid so that my number can be ported to airtel.

There is a policy in AIRTEL only when you close all your outstanding bill with the current mobile service provider then only you can port your number to other (airtel) service provider.
This is harassment of the customer as I am receiving phones as well as email from voda for the amount which is not mine or which is not due at my part. I would wish to take this matter to consumer court as I am asked to pay the fraud amount.

dear
i have already mail u.day before 17/06/09. regarding new connection of voda phone .i got call today (from voda fone simran m.no [protected]).she told me sum no of voda but what i want n confirmed with sheetal is [protected], now simran is saying that this number is already in use(alloted to somebody).That means it is clear that game played by voda employees to me.

Very politily I'm requesting that i dont want any number i just want my id proofs and my money back asap but incase this will be done earlier then i will surely have take any action so, plz make it sure slove it asap becoz i very much unsatisfied i m uesr of 8-9 connection of vodafone but now i will close all my working voda connections.

Vodafone — Subject to harassment

I have been subject to a lot of harassment by Vodafone. I bought the first sim card way back in 2007. The minute I filled my forms with all the details of name and residential address along with identity proof with a PAN card, they immediately called me up asking for my details again. The for months they kept on playing on my phone a recorded message stating that I will have to produce identity proof papers and residential proof papers. When I did produce them and asked them the reason they said the same number had been issued to two customers which is hard to believe.

Then once I started travelling in the Himalayas, their customer care kept harassing me at least once in two weeks to ask me which part of India I am in and when will I be coming back to Chennai. This was a constant harassment and each call from their side would cost me one rupee on the roaming. Finally I had to shout at the employee over the phone and they stopped harassing me with calls.

Then again I would receive calls from some random person if I would travel to some places. They constantly have been harassing me for some reason or the other. And now, again they are asking for re-verification. Is this totally necessary? In case they cannot trust their customers then why not just disconnect the number? If they are so concerned about security etc... then better not issue sim cards instead harass their customers. If they have doubts about our track records then just better cancel instead of following up on their customers constantly asking where they are travelling, why they are travelling, and when they will come back home which is none of their business at all.

It was disgusting to talk with Vodafone customer care Mohali. First of all Vodafone has charged me 30 Rs for caller tune activation which I did not activated. When I called up at their customer care for the reason, they were not providing me the valid reason, and were saying that this has been activated by you only, and when I said I have not activated he service and I want a solution for that, then that guy told me to talk with his senior and ask me to hold on, and then he drop my call. Then I called up again, no this other guy did no even listen me and when I said I want t complaint again this he sad you cannot, which was so frustrating. I am realy pissed off by these guys and I am really surprised that such people are working and being hired by companies lke vodafone, such a unpofessional way to treat the customers. Its a huge harassment of customers. I really want somebody should teach these people a leson. Also Vodafone should stop harassing there cutomer like this. I do no know if someone will read this or Consumer Court will take som action against such people ( for the purpose this site has been created) , but I am just releasing my intense frustration with this forum entry. INDIA is going no where if such unethical and unprofessiona people are employed.
This is disgusting. Now you should tell me how can my mobile itself type these digits and activated this service. Moreover recently I received another message saying bollywood alerts has been activated on your mobile and 30 Rs has been deducted from your account, what nonsense is going on. Are you people making your customers fools by doing all this nonsense. Am I MAD that I will complained against my own request. Stop cheating people. I hate your services. You people exploit your customers.

To the Indian Public and specifically Chennai City Public

This is to relate in a summary the harrowing and harassed experience with Vodafone “Happy to Help “… you see the picture of a Dog.
Please note, you will be treated worse than a Dog.....believe me
I have made the biggest mistake in life to have imagined that Vodafone is one of the best Service providers in the Country.
I have had issues for the last one year and they do not care to resolve a customer issue.
The network is pathetic with poor range in a prime locality in Chennai like Guindy Ekattuthangal .
Repeated phone calls to the Help line number, the Nodal Office and the Appellate Office are a futile attempt to resolve issues and only result in a huge waste of time and effort.
No one is has the basic decency to revert to a customer understanding his/her issue.
None of the Officers are accessible to an aggrieved Customer and they are always busy.
No one in the Nodal Office is “Happy to Help” in fact they are very happy to complicate and be of the least possible help.
My experience and frustration is being very mildly expressed on this site, basically to warn the Public of all false commitments by such unscrupulous Service Providers who do not understand the meaning of Service.
I had been given repeated commitments that my issue would be resolved, but on the other hand things get worse.
Even after all this when you make a payment as a rightful citizen you are harassed ,saying your payment is due and your line will be disconnected.
This is the true state of affairs which can be proved with evidence and facts.
Beware of Vodafone !!!!

I was told by the highest Costomer greviance office that I would get a call within an hour, it is now past time and I am yet to receive a call as per the commitment...
This happens every time ...hence im am forced to add...
To make things clear I have other Connections like Airtel, TATA DOCOMO, TATA Indicom, which all function well with good range only my Vodafone range is absolutely pathetic.
After making a payment on 19th to theit own Office, you dont get an update even after four days.They say it will take seven days to update a payment .In the mean time you get SMS alerts and Voice Messages to make payment or your line will be disconnected.
After followup with their Nodal Office and giving evidance and details of payment made four days earlier, you still get such harrasing sms and so on...
Again after followup you get a sms thanking for Payment and soon afterwards get another SMS threatening to disconnect if payment is not made... This is the best Service Provider and the Best Customer Experiance !!!
Who will dare to take up a Customer issue and deliver justice/get justice?????

Myself Perbesh Negi, My cell No is [protected] (Bhatinda< punjab>), t26 april 17.48 hrs again i got massege for news activation and deducted my 30 rupees for rentels, then i call imediate costomer care center but they didnot give me satisfactory answer.then i immediate deactivate my news alert service after deduction of 30 rupees, and also activate DND service, but today at11.24 hrs again i got the massage of news alert activation , so this the cross the limit , if i didn"t get my deducted money , i will go to the CONSUMER COURT for harrassing me again and again.
My friend also suffering from these thing, so we are planning to go CONSUMER COURT.and we are also planning to change our service provider. i want immediate action againest these thing.

please do the needful, we are waiting for your favourable reply.
