Vodafone mobile — Wrong billing by Vodafone

I am using Vodafone no [protected], In the month of Jan' 10 Vodafone generated a wrong bill for the said no. I've called VF Customer care centre for details, every time executives of the call centers replied that I 'll get a feed back call within 48 hours, it has happend for four times. No body has called me even after giving my alternate contact no. I have not made the bill payment. after few days I got a call from VF Credit Cell asking to pay the bill, I info'd them about wrong billing issue and got the assurance that I'll get the waiver off for the wrong billing and they asked me to pay the balance amount, which I did later. Later on when I called to the person who gave me assurance for waiveroof has never answered my calls. Now VF Legal cell calling me and blackmailing me to pay the outstanding amount otherwise my name details will kept it blcok list and telling that I'll not get any post paid mobile connection in future.

I am ready to pay the outstanding amount if i get a good reason for my bill, but VF simply denying to give the info and blindly arguiying that I used gprs services. without giving details.

I request you all to let me know that where I can complain on Vodafone on this issue.

Vodafone — wrong billing procedure for post paid

I am P. Sudarsan, from Porur, Chennai.
I had used Vodafone postpaid for 3 months. During my usage I was disconnected from service for exceeding the credit limit of 1000 rs. But this was due to their procedure of discounting the add-ons at the end of the month.
Therefore, I had to pay 1000 rs in advance to use services. Then the next month I chose to discontinue their service . But my roaming messages when I was in TN circle were billed at one rupee per sms because they say that the previous month's roaming details gets carried on to the next month.

DESPITE HAVING AN ADD-ON FOR THE PARTICULAR MONTH, THEY BILL MY SMS AT 1 RE, BECAUSE I CHOSE TO DISCONTINUE THE FOLLOWING MONTH.

Is it the customer's fault that they get details of roaming the following month only.
The worst experience was when an executive is justifying this problem as normal.
I have lost somewhere close to 300 rs due to this, and the balance amount of 50 rs is yet to be received.

Hopefully, this forum helps reduce such malpractices.

Dear sir,

I have been using airtel mobile post paid services for the past 7 to 8 years and remitting the dues in time without fail. I have never made any ISD calls in my call history. Duirng May, 2010 i have seen couple of ISD calls made to destinations like South Africa, Zimbabwe and other Europian countries for worth Rs.8, 400. When i have noticed the irrational charges communicated to me by airtel by SMS i have immediately contacted the Customer Service Dept to look into the problem and rectify immediately. On various occassions, i have spoken to CSD and intimated about the descrepency taking place with my mobile however, the CSD did not hear to my complaint and allowed the descrepency to coninue for rest of the month without any corrective action and now insisting me to pay for the calls which i have never made from my mobile. SIr, i request you, to kindly allow me to hear the correspondece made in those calls to find out who have made those call actually, by hacking into my mobile number and give me relief from this mental torture and agony.

I have already deactivated GPRS before safe custody and if by default my GPRS activated I am not responsible for charges of Rs.11.90, which please note.

Please now dont carry forward balance amount and waive the same in current bill. Thanx

This is regarding the wrong bill amount which I received for my post paid no;[protected] for my handset which is 5800 music express.The maximum bill which I had received including the internet charges usage is Rs 700/-The amount which I received for this month is Rs 2517/ out of which more than 1800 Rs is just for the internet charge and I completely disagree to this bill as I have not used the internet to that extent thst m receiving so much bill, and will not do the payment.If I am going to receive so much bill then I would be forced to disconnect the number. IN MORNING OF 19.02.2011 I CHECK MY GPRS DATAU REST BALANCE BALANCE IS 11MB BUT IN EVENING I SURFFING APPROX. 10PAGE FOR SSC MTS ADMIT CARD DOWNLOADING AFTER 20 MINUTES MY MAIN BALANCE DEDUCTED BY RS.17 WHEN I COMPLAIN TO CUSTOMER CARE THEY TOLD ME VODAFONE NEVER CHARGE WRONG YOU SURF MORE THAN 50 TIMES ABOUT USSING 501KB EACH TIME I REQUEST FOR RESISTER MY COMPLAIN BUT THEY DO NOT REGISTER MY COMPLAIN

Vodafone — wrong billing without customer activation

for every activation and deactivation of services they always ask for confirmation by sms.but from last 2 to 3 year ihave seen in my itemised bill that they are charging without my consent. they simply charge it without any confirmed proof from my side whether i had activated it .the major problem is with there internet charges.they charge for the download for which charges are never informed.is this the way a big company like vodafone behaves. have they become bankrupt or does the indian government are letting them to do this.

Vodafone — no email services, unnecessary charge for vodafone live

I bought a new blackberry ( old mobile is also blackberry ) and there is a problem in transforming email settings from old mobile to new one. When spoken to customer support, first thing is they dont know the solution. 2nd thing, after promising to get back to me in 24 hours, they never did. I called back after 35 hours and found no solution. When i started questioning about the services, they started putting down the call. This is embarrasing to see a customer support guy putting down the call ( After keeping on hold for some time ). When asked for MNP ( Mobile Number Portability ), no one responded. Almost spoke to 7 different customer support guys after entering into MNP IVR option and they have different reasons apart from giving solution for MNP. Its been 3 days i didnt get any repoonse.
Other case being, i was cheated by activating Vodafone live on my Blackberry since December 2009 till Jan'11 ( blackberry doesnt need Vodafone live services, which i identified later on through a friend ). Need justice please.
wrong billing was given to me by vodafone..however as i had activated billing details i came to know that i was being charged for internet facilities which i never had in at he first place.. i informed the same at voafone center [andheri west] and was assured that it will be taken care off..a complaint number was also provided .. was called and told that it was a mistake hence they told me to pay on 1500 /- [from a total of rs3000 ..] after i had cleared this payment.. still my phone is not working .. instead my postpaid num is converted to prepaid even after assuring me.. the calls are still coming asking for the remaining payment... help please
wrong billing was done by Vodafone live of my cell no [protected] ,my vodafone live was activated on 13 feb and from dat day to till date when i deactivated , i have not at all surfed the web properly , it got connected only thrice where i just check my mail for a min. i have spoke to dozens of vodafone representative over a call , they informed me that there was a problem with vodafone live and it will take some time to streamline .
i remember the last reference no :[protected], wher i have requested for vodafone mobile connect also . then at the end of month they have raised a bill of around RS 800/- bill for vodafone live apart from my regular bill amount , which is totally wrong on me , thou i have made a payment of the same . but i request them to look into the matter ,

pls see i have been to ur mobile care center for my issue , they told they are helpless since i m into corporate plan , can you pls look into the matter , now evertime i make call i get 2min msg that your bill is due . which is really irratating specially on duty work , ur vodacare representive told he will deactivate that msg within half an hour , but nothing happend ,
, i have spoken to 7 of vodafone representative . i wonder how they work .
- when i haven't used a single MB of data usuage , it can be check thru my cell (vodafone representative checked that) data usuage . and told me there is certainly some problem but when contacted to nodal officer they revert mail with their standard reply that billing is indeed correct , and in next month they have crossed the limit in the month of 8 days till when i have not deactivated VL they generated bill of Rs 1500 /- , showing that i have used daily of rs 200/- internet or so . in the pervious month when they have charged Rs 800/- the Vodafone lady called up and said that my cell must be in auto connectivey mode which may have caused rs 800/- bill . my bill show that i have used 10 paise for each transactions and it sums up to 800/- . this much was acceptable and next month they have asked for 1500/- which is total injustice ....i have tried to be in touch with nodal officer for long time they kept me hanging till more than hour , they just reply thru that every thing is indeed right from their side .
I was having 2 vodafone # viz [protected] and [protected] on which there has been wrong billing for an ISD to Latvia and the number on which it states i have called doesn't even exist i am in constant follow up with them from 9 jan 2011 for the same but they claim that it has been done by me as it is reflecting in my bill, which means that they can put any no and charge you.
the call charges where 100 rs per min, i was shock. after this when i visited the vodafone galary to complain about it, the customer service officer gave a veered smile as if i was a thief. till today the follow up is going on but nothing is happening.
