[Resolved]  Voltas Ac — Customer service sucks

I have bought Vertis elite 1 ton split AC from "R.A electronics, panch bati bharuch". Within a months time, i have a water dripping problem from the pipe. On complaining to R.A electronics, he did not respond for 8 days and on calling again, he said conveyance charges(Rs 150/-) has to be paid and even after this he does not guarentee immediate service. Does voltas have such bad dealers who piss off their customers?

i am going through the same problem. I have bought two ACs from Voltas this month. None of them are working right now. One of the ACs stopped working the very next day i got it installed. I have placed complains and since then i have been calling them up. Everytime i get the same response that the person will visit us the next day. Also there customer care executives are very rude. Its been a week now and the next day has not yet arrived for them. If this continues for another week I am thinking of going to the consumer court. And yes, I strongly suggest, people of India please do not waste your hard earned money on Voltas products.

Voltas Vertis + Gold — Brand New AC manufacturing Defect

I purchased a brand new VOLTAS 1.5 TONNE AC from VIVEKS, TAMBARAM. It was installed at my house at Tambaram.

However right from day 1, the AC is not functioning. I gave a call to VIVEKS ( who did the installation), they said there was a manufacturer defect in Indoor Unit, and they said will replace it with a new one.

After 5 days still they have not changed. No response from them

Today, the AC is just like a show piece in the house & not able to serve the purpose. My parents have been forced to face the HEAT ! even at night....

Hopefully , with this feedback, some action is expected.

Voltas AC Vertis Elite — No cooling effect in AC

I have purchased of Voltas Vertis Elete AC on 24th April 2010. Just after one mother, one of the ACs has lost its cooling effect. I registered my complaint on cutomer care on 15th May 2010 and I was told that a technician will attend the complaint within 24 working hours. But even after 5 days, nobody has come to attend the complaint. Everytime I make call at customer care, I receive the same reply that a technician will reach soon. I guess, I have taken a wrong decision by opting voltas ac. It is really unfortunate that a reputed company like TATA is making fool of its customers.

Am suffering in their hands for the last 2 months for replacement of faulty AC, but nothing seems to move...
i have bought win ac in 04/2008 and since march it does not power on, voltas said issue with pcb and gas has also leaked, they charged RS. 3000/- because warranty has expired.after 2 days of repair same issue gas has leaked.they filled it again.now after 20 days gas has leaked again and now company says we have to pay for cooling coil, which costs another 3000/-.it's simply making customer's fool, 2nd summer season and ac requires 6000 of repair charges.crap quality and scrap ac's.TATA SUCKS.

Voltas - Split AC Vertis Plus — not properly installed

AC NOT PROPERLY INSTALLED MANY ENGINEERS FROM VOLTAS VISITED AND IT IS NOT MY JOB IT MANUFACTURING PROBLEM ETC.
voltas india limited providing not proper servicing to customers though they are claiming for it. AC is not in use due to this problem.

Voltas / Vertis Plus 1.5 T Split AC — Poor Service

I purchased a VOLTAS VERTIS - plus 1.5 T split AC on 13 February 2009, and it has been repaired two since. the customer care service is so poor that last time they take money for parts and service charges but immediately leave my residence of technician machine was not functioning. I had to call the almost every day to respond. however i have stopped getting any response form the service centre even they stopped phone after getting my name over telephone.

The customer care is absolutely useless and even the higher authority does not bother. I think this is one of the reason that Indian companies dont do well, we trusted the brand name tata, but I think this was really a TATA to any of there brands.

Please do the need full.
I have purchased one AC split 1ton on[protected] aftar 20 days it started to give
problem regarding cooling & WaterI have approached the dealer & the dealer passes around 20 days aftar that i lodged complaint in customer care centre on[protected] vide comolain no. MY 1901630 & I have made around 20-30 Phones but every time I recd answer that complain has been entrusted to technician but no nperson has visited. The service of Voltas is very poor & I will say to everyone that dont buy Voltas AC. Now I am thinking to go consumer
court. I think it is cheating with customers that after selling off the product company dont look to customer.

Voltas ac (vertis plus) — poor cust service

i got a new voltas ac lates model after a month and half the ac stopped working
it took 2 day to get a techncian to come and check it
when the techncian came he said that gas is leaking some where and a another technician will come
so called customer again and booked another technician it took three days for that technician to come
no punchulality morning the techncian said he is coming and till evening no one is came

Voltas AC — No response on replacement of faulty split ac

Sub- Replacement of Faulty Split Air conditioner

We purchased a new voltas split Air – conditioner from your reputed dealer vardhaman enterprises, Kandivali in April 2010. At the time of installation your mechanic spent countless hours trying to get the machine to work. It did not work, this was followed by countless follow-ups which resulted in 3 of your senior company mechanics examining the machine. They to informed us that the machine fan was faulty and the machine requires replacement.

Again we made countless calls to vardhaman, since we did not get any response, we decided to directly complaint to voltas complaint no 10my2804723, we clearly specified we need the machine to be replaced, instead we received an mechanic trying to repair the machine.

I think it is very clear, that the machine supplied by you, is faulty, since I have paid the full amount for this machine, I as a consumer am clearly eligible to receive the product according to specifications at the time of the deal. We do not want to use a product which is already faulty and needs repair.

I have already spent the entire summer running around for this machine, my reason for buying the machine for summer has completely not been fulfilled. I hope you will look into it and get the machine replaced immediately. We spoke to your branch head, Mr Venkatesh & Mr Mithun, but did not receive any response from them, we are trying to call, them but there is no answer.

I do not expect an ethical company like Voltas, from the Tata Group to exhibit such kind of irresponsible behavior. Incase I do not receive a revert, I will have no choice but to move the consumer court, If I do not receive a response to my letter, the next letter from me will come as a court notice to you

yes i agree a lakhs of voltas customers has the same problem some reply, some adjust withthat, very very poor service, tata a purely Indian company doing such lawless, other foriegn collaborated companies are much better, higher officials of TATA should interviene to such matters to keep up the credibility of the company

Voltas Veties Split AC 1.5 — inside fan not working properly

purchased 1.5 split voltas veties ac on 2008 at delar of Om surya electronics , punjagutta , Hyderabad , right from the begining not body attend for servicing ( three free servicing period also over) ! last one week onwards inside fan not working properly ! pl note the complient and arrange service engineer to rectify this proplbm

Voltas Air Conditioners — BAD PRODUCT & COMPANY

I am Nitesh Jain. I bought two VOLTAS 1.5 ton Ac for my residence last year. Now, these have 2 services free- one dry and one wet. When Called the service centre, they DENIED. the owner said that this is not the provision. I made a complaint at customer care but of no use. PATHETIC would be the most repectful word for them.

Secondly,
The A/C are so delicate that it has completed just 1 year a month back, The AC motor went out of order. Rs 3150/- motor renewing every year is just a waste. Voltas is Pathetic, its services are pathetic, its Service centre are pathetic and this compant does not deserve to produce the electrical appliances. I have a company in which i am going to install 10 new AC. Voltas will not be choice. Now, i am not buying its motor. If voltas people come and install that from their end then may be my point of view changes. And if not, then I will also ask my friends, family, relatives and business allied people to quit and boycott voltas.

VOLTAS VERTIS 1.5 TON SPLIT AC — NO RESPONSE FROM CUSTOMER CARE

OUR COMPANY, H M BROTHERS LTD HAD BOUGHT A VOLTAS A C 1.5 TON VERTIS ON 20.03.2010 AND WE ARE ELIGIBLE FOR TWO FREE SERVICES.

LET ALONE THE FREE SERVICE WE HAD CALLED VOLTAS CUSTOMER CARE ON VARIOUS DATES SINCE 20TH MAY 2010.FOR REGISTERING OUR COMPLAINT THAT OUR A/C IS NOT WORKING AND THER WAS NO RESPONSE . WHEN WE CALLED ON 2ND JUNE 2010 THEY GAVE US A REF NO.10JU0201110 AND TILL DATE ( 08.06.2010 ) NOBODY HAS TURNED UP.

EVERYDAY WHEN WE CALL THE CUSTOMER CAREN O WE GET THE ANSWER THAT BY TODAY EVENING A TECHNICIAN WIL COME AND RECTIFY THE FAULT.

BUT SORRY TO STATE THAT TILL DATE NO PERSON HAS COME UP

WE REQUEST YOU TO LOOK INTO THE MATTER AND ARRANGE TO GET OUR COMPLAINT RECTIFIED AT THE EARLIEST

We have purchased one Voltas Splitt AC 1.5ton split AC(Vertis S) from Vasanth & Co, (Big dealer in Tamil Nadu) Unit Seriel No is 4551154C10C019258 & 4511171P10C001969
Chennai on[protected] along with Stabilizer & AC Stand. Cost of AC Stand is Rs. 750. We paid Separately in Vasanth & Co. We were told the stand fixing charges is Rs 200 & Installation Cost is Rs.1200.
We have accepted the dealings.

We received the Goods on[protected]. Registered in Voltas for Installation on[protected] morning by Vasanth & Co.

After successful of 48 Business hours(!) installation person from DK Engg. came. First they are not accepted the same. After discuss with me, they demanded Rs. 350 for installation. I complaint on vasanth & Co over phone. Then they taught with installation person. After that, they asked Rs. 200. I accepted.
We have settled the amount Rs. 1400. DK Engg. Report No: 36327 dt:[protected]

Stand selling scope, fixing scope should be between Voltas, Vasanth & Co and DK Engg. Public people should not aware about the problems. The problems are not mentioned in any where including in your advertisement.

But the installation of Stand is Very very poor. Any Engg, person will not accept the work. They are not fitted Vibration bushes. Stand position is not correct. Some of the AC tubes are open to atmosphere.

Due to this problems, we have suffered lot. We have paid huge money for AC. Why should we face problems.

Better, Voltas should give answer for me

voltas air condition window — part not available

our window a/c dead last one mounth we are manual
complane to service center in varanasi m/s lata eneterprises lajpatnagar varanasi.
after 10 days we are deposite to service charge @350.00 than he send one eng,. he chek and said me your compresor is dead and send the systum in our office after this we are give a/c on 3june 10 in
lata enterprise.
but after 15 days he not provid our set because the camppresor is not prasent.

if you send our complain to top managment we say
in futer we not purches any product of tata because his service are very pour

Voltas - Split AC - 1.5 Ton - 16th May 2010 Date Of Purchase — Water Drain Issue

There is a issue with water drain at the indoor unit. while logged a call with voltas customer care on 09th June 2010, was given with a ref id - 10JU0903800. 10th June - Technician came and identified that a spare has been broken and to be replaced. When spoke to Voltas Customer care again, was told that it will be replaced within 48 working hours. As on 22nd june 2010, had been following it up with Voltas on daily basis with front office or Sr. executives to give me a resolution. Nothing has happened so for and neither not allowing to give further escalation info to Customer. Please assist.

My 1 ton WT AC, VERTIS PLUS complaint no JU222204 was collected by m/s unique refrigeration and air conditioning company on 22 jun 2010.On being asked the progress on 24 jun i was very curtly told that compressor is to be replaced under warranty and the spare compressor is not available.He went on to say that I will have to indefinitely wait.This coming from a company TATA VOLTAS is just not right, I hope ratan tata gets to know of it.
I am sure if I go to open market I will get N number of compressors 4 replacement.
I spoke to Mr CHARABORTY, cutomer care, mob [protected], he expressed his inability to give any time period for repairs as parts are not available.
In this heat at Delhi how does VOLTAS expect the customers to wait indefinitely.
