[Resolved]  Voltas Ac — Customer service sucks

I have bought Vertis elite 1 ton split AC from "R.A electronics, panch bati bharuch". Within a months time, i have a water dripping problem from the pipe. On complaining to R.A electronics, he did not respond for 8 days and on calling again, he said conveyance charges(Rs 150/-) has to be paid and even after this he does not guarentee immediate service. Does voltas have such bad dealers who piss off their customers?

Voltas Split AC(Vertis) 1.5 ton — AC not working properly

I have purchased a voltas split AC in April 2010. It worked well for 1 month but after that it gives very less cooling n inspite of repeated complains to the customer care by phone and dealer from where we have purchased AC, No one came to sort the problem till 31 aug 2010. I request you to kindly rectify the problem as soon as possible or we will go to consumer court with in the next 10 days.

No one came even once after installation of AC for the first time while dealer told us for 2 free services with in 6 months but till now we dont have even single service.

Very Bad support from Voltas. Not once, twice its been happening to me third time. I have 3 Different brands at my home and most pathetic service is from Voltas,and biggest surprise is its TATA company. Your Service support center Babylon Eng who is the most pathetic service center I have seen in my life with most pathetic and un-professional people. I have lodged my complaint on 7th, Person came on 10th and promised to be back on Monday or Tuesday with remote,which need to be repaired and then again no revert. On my again Follow with them on 18th no clear promise when remote will be changed. Last time they took around 1-2 Months. Now again their target is same. This is the reason they might be busy on repeated calls bcoz they don't solve problems in one go. I have serious doubts no body checks them or some kind of personal tieups are there between Voltas people and Babylon Eng.
MY SUGGESTION TO EVERY BODY NEVER BUY VOLTAS, THEY ARE SHAME IN NAME OF TATA COMPANY.

Voltas AC Company — No action on my complaint from the last 11/2 month

Hi All,


I want to complaint against voltas AC service provider department.
My complaint no is 10au2302489. I booked a complaint on 23rd of August and after that I had a lot of communication with the customer care and the concerned person, but till now no action is performed.

This is a very embracing situation for the user that user is continuously pinging tio the customer care but then also no fruitful action is there.

I have all the detail of communication with Voltas AC service and can update to you if that is required.

I want to convey to you that please take the action immediately to resolve the issue and a assurance that it would not be in future with me and with any other user.

Voltas Elite-s (2S) / Split AC — Never buy Voltas product

Before I bought this AC on 15th of Nov '10, I did read many complaints about Voltas AC and mainly about its after service problems. But still I went for one (Voltas Elite-s (2S) / Split AC), since I though the service was a only the main problem and hoped that major problem would not rise. But within two months of its purchase it stoped working.
I called the helpdesk and they send a person who checked the AC and told that the PCB board had stoped working and took that with him and told that it will be replaced within 2 days max. But it is now the 12 day and when I called the helpdesk they say that the particular part is out of stock... They say the same thing whenever I call and state that the problem will be addressed in 24hrs.
SO PLEASE, THIS IS NOT A COMPLAINT.. THIS IS A CAUTION TO OTHERS WHO LIKE ME WOULD SEARCH THE INTERNET FOR REVIEWS ABOUT AC...

voltas after sales service is very bad. I purchased Voltas 1 ton vertis split A.C. on 4/2/11 and there is leakage problem but no one is attending to it. I purchased it from Sumaria, Mahim. This message must be passed on to Ratan Tata I am sure he is not aware of this.
aftersale service is very very very bad.

1.5T Vertis Plus Window AC — 2nd Free Service

Dear Sir,

I have requested for 2nd Free Service on 24.05.10 vide Service Request No 10MY2404496 but till date, service of Window AC has not been done. After several reminder, today (25.03.11) I have received call from Mr. Amir (Mobile [protected]) for service and he has informed that now service will not be Free of Cost due to purchase of AC is more than 1 year as on date. But I have registered Service Request within 1 year so 2nd Free Service should be provided.

It may also be noted that 1st Free Service against Service Request No. 09NO240984 dated 24.11.09 was done on 22.04.10 (after 5 months) even after several reminders.

Therefore it is requested that please arrange 2nd Free Service at the earlist.

I have purchased on 12.07.2010 One Voltas AC Vertis Window model and I have today rang up your customer service cell for availing free service but I am very much shocked and astonished that your service people asked for the pincode of my residential address and when I said the pincode is 110087 (Paschim Vihar) he said that this pin is not available in his system. When I requested him to note down the address and send the service engineer for servicing he is adamant and repeating the same answer that first the pin should be verified in the system. I cannot understand that a company of repute is asking such a stupid question instead of note down the address and send the engineer to my residential address.

Voltas Vertis 1ton AC — repairs in warranty period

I had complained for repairs to my 1 ton voltas vertis ac vide complaint no 11MR 2601095 on 26 march 2011.The ac was collected by ms unique air conditioning and refg company an authorised VOLTAS service centre.The compressor needed replacement.In spite repeated reminders by email,calls to the service centre and call centre there is no progress.Mean while my warranty period is going to expire on 20 apr 2011.Besides inconvenience the voltas service although curteous on tel but nothing seems to be moving on ground.Kindly help for early delivery of repaired AC.THANKING YOU.
I purchased an air conditioner on 29.03.2011 however, during installation the 'Front Grill' was found to be defective while the 'Fan Howjing Top' broken.This was immediately informed by the technician and a formal complaint was also lodged by the dealer KBM Electronics, Paschim Vihar, New Delhi with Call Centre vide call slip # 11MR[protected] dt.31.03.2011. Thereafter, a visit was made by some Sh. Sameer to physically inspect the machine for the aforesaid defects. But to my regret, no further action taken to replace the defective/broken parts.
I could never imagine such a response from company like VOLTAS to warrenty/service request. i am now of an opinion that one should not rely on dealer, s versions about company as they are more concerned about their commission than to guide the customer properly.There has to be some regulatory authority to monitor such types of complaints where venders/company don't respond to their warrenty service requests.
