[Resolved]  Wasan Motors — Poor Quality of Service & Repairs

My Car TATA Indigo was giving for servicing at WASAN Motors service center at Kandivali West. The problem was with my car battery getting drained if vehicle is not used for 3-4 days. The car was kept for investigations and related work was carried out. When the vehicle was returned it was not cleaned at all and I noticed that the Engine check light showed up always. For which I again gave the car for investigation and they informed me that the issue was in car alternator and estimated 9500/- for it to be fixed. But when there was no issue with the alternator. On my probing they further investigated the car and told me that the issue is now with the ICE and estimated 15000 as the expense. In all this time my car was at the service station and was driven 40-45 kms for good reason just known to them. Also the petrol level had gone down drastically when car was given for repairs and when received.

The issue of Engine Check light is still there and interior are all dirty which inspite of my repeated complain was not addressed.

My Tata Indica Vehicle No: Mh 02 AU 7684 was given for servicing on 13th of January 2012 and received the vehicle on 16th January 2012. The car was given with a specific purpose as the check engine light was always "on" when the car was in running. I was told by my advisor Pankaj Pawar that the problem has been rectified and gave me an inflated bill of 16, 290/- as against an estimate figure of around 9000/- odd. I paid the bill which I never had any choice but to pay and then on 25th Jan 2012 the car started showing similar problems which I was told by Pankaj that it had got rectifed after paying 16, 290/- Rupees.
26th Jan being a holiday i gave them the car in theor breakdown service on 27th January Morning and till today i.e. 3rd of February I havent received the car till date. the reponse given by the Wasan team is pathetic no one bothers to reply to calls and we being the distressed consumers have to keep following up with them as always till eternity from 27th till 1st they were just sitting on it there was no progress on my work till the time I escalated it to the CRM Bharti Adiyar even her response was pathetic. Finally yesterday 2nd Feb I went there personally and to my surprise i find that the petrol tank has got some problems and the people who look into this are on leave for the past 2 days so I suffer because of that.

I would request Consumers to stop giving their vehicles to WASAN Motors as their attitide i very lax and dont nother about their clients who have ben with them for the past 5 years. They are more focussed on generating revenues by changing the spare parts of the vehicles when not needed and charge extensivly higher than the market price. Its a big Fraud...
