28th December 2011 Subject :Delay in pension of Deceased Railway employee Shambhunath Kurmi. Dear Sirs, This is to bring to your notice about the above mentioned issue.I am Rajkumar S Kurmi son of late Shambhunath Kurmi who was a railway employee and deceased on 07/10/2008 wants to bring this to your notice.My mother is entitled to get his pension since his death.All the paper work and formalaties have een completed yet she is not receiving any pension yet.It has been morer than 3 years now.My mother Dropati S Kurmi is legaly entitled to get the pension of her deceased husband. Please look into this issue as a serious concern and do the needfull. I have made an appeal to the Pension Adalat held during Dec 2009 for revision of my husbands pension for Vth & VIth Pay commission .At that that time I have already submitted all the papers but unfortunately only VIth Pay scale pension revision have been made from 1-1-2006 onwards vide FA & CA’s letter no. BCT/PEN/E/789/90/2/32 dated 18thMar 2011.There after I have send another application for the revision of Pension for remaining period from 9-8-1998 to[protected] but no successful efforts have been made so far for the reasons best know to the administration.
In view of the position explained, I request your personal intervene in the matter and arrange to revise Pension from 9-8-1998 to[protected] and payment of arrears for which act I shall remain ever grateful to you. The necessary documents available with me are sent herewith for your immediate compliance of my very old case.
