[Resolved] Whirlpool Home Appliances — Refrigerator AMC complaint
I had purchased a Whirlpool Ice Magic Elite Steel (consumer ID 19707499/2002) refrigerator on the 3- Mar-06 in Secunderabad. Whirlpool sent a person to demo the fridge and he convinced us to purchase an AMC from them for an amount of Rs. 2290. Since then until today i have not had anyone even call up to come for a service today. Above all in spite of making several complaints to their customer service in Hyderabad, NO ONE has even bothered to call up and schedule an appointment to service the refrigerator. Last Thursday I called them up again to lodge a compliant for service as there is water leaking from the freezer in the refrigerator. The customer care officer took the compliant and even checked up that my refrigerator comes under an AMC. She promised that someone would attend to my refrigerator today (Saturday). But it is 4:30 PM now and no one has even called me up from Whirlpool! I think Whirlpool has the worst customer service and they have just cheated us by taking the amount for an AMC. I urge others not to buy Whirlpool appliances as they cheat customers like me by collecting the AMC amount and never get back! I have no idea what I should do now? Whats the use of calling up such a customer care, speaking to whom is like speaking to a wall that doesn't hear you. I don;t know how anyone can make Whirlpool address my compliant as I am tired of complaining to them. I have a very busy life and no time to get stressed about such issues. I hope that writing in here will take this complaint a step further and some strict action is taken on Whirlpool. Thanks.
