I OWN WHIRLPOOL 350 LTR. REFRIGERATOR. I HAVE TAKEN EXTENDED WARRANTY TILL 2012. THE MACHINE IS GIVING TROUBLE FOR ABOUT LAST EIGHT MONTHS. I HAVE MADE SEVERAL COMPALINTS TO THE SERCVICE CENTRE. ALTHOUGH TGHEY HAVE VISISTED SEVERAL TIMES BUT TO NO AVAIL. ABOUT THREE WEEKS BACK TTHEY PICKED UP MY REFRIGERATOR FOR REPAIR. AFTER MAKING SEVERAL REQUESTA TODAY THEY HAVE DELIVERED IT TO ME. IT IS NOT GIVING THE PROPER COOLING. IT IS NOT MAKING ICE. WHEN THAE TOOK AWAY THE MACHINE IT WAS UNSCRATCHED. NOW THE MACHINE BODY IS BADLY DAMAGED. IT IS BADLY DENTED AND SCRATCHED. I HAVE TALKED TO THE COMPANY FELLOWS AND TO THE SERVICE CENTRE BUT THEY HHAVE REFUSED TO HELP. THE ATTITUDE IS FRUSTRATING. THE COMAPNY IS HOPE LESS AND A LIAR. THE DELIVERY BOY TOLD ME THAT THE REPAIRED MACHINES DEVELOP FAULTS WITHIN 6 MONTHS. BETTER IFF WE BUY AN OLD TECHNILOGY FRIDGE WHICH LAST FOR 20-30YEARS.

I have purchased Whirlpool UPS - 600va from Shree Enterprises proprieter Mr Soundarrajan which is situated at saravanampatty, coimbatore one month before. Keep tracking and conatacting him daily through phone, but no response. Till now I did not receice the bill yet which will result as a bad brand name to whirlpool company Please take necessary action.

Whirlpool Services — Repairing Washing Machine

Sir,
I have brought a whirlpool washing machine in the year 2006. For the last few months it has been giving a big noise. We have given the complaint to the service centers. The complaint NOs. are 31231432, 11634,11052,24843&39627.
But the engineers and customer care staff sent by the company are very ingnorant about the problem in the machine, arrogant, careless, doesn't reply properly to customers and many more things to say.
I said last time to the customer service that I would complain to consumer court if they do not provide proper service. But the reply given was that I could do that "with pleasure". If this sort of service continues no customers will be left for your company.
I have gone thrugh the mental pressure for last few months due to the negligence and the careless attitude of your staff members. I want you to send a experinced engineer who knows the exact problem in the machine and who is customer friendly or replace a new washing machine in it's place. If that is not done I would put a case in consumer court " WITH PLEASURE" and you will have to face the music.

Whirlpool Of India Ltd. / Refrigerator — unsatisfactory service

We had problem with our Whirlpool 2 door refrigerator in Oct. 09. After suffering for a week, the problem was rectified by replacing the compressor. Again on[protected], we faced a similar problem and lodged a complaint on[protected] vide no.11416.

A technician attended the complaint at 5PM on 19th and reported that the capillary tube is blocked and needs replacement along with the refilling of gas and informed us that it will be chargeable. On 20th at 3PM he came and replaced the capillary tube and filled gas and said now it will work OK. But on checking we felt that the side panel was getting heated and informed him. He replied that it will take 2 hours and then it will fully cool. We paid under protest Rs.1850=00 demanded by the technician against a bill no.10328 of M/s. Seetal Electronics, Hyderabad.

But, to our shock and dismay we have observed that even by 10 PM the fridge is not getting cool and ice is also not forming.

Since, we have doubts about the competency of technician, we request the higher management to look into the matter immediately and depute a trained engineer to rectify our problem immediately. Already food material worth thousands is spoiled and we have suffered enough loss and inconvenience.

Looking forward to prompt and efficient customer care from Whirlpool India, whose vision and mission mentions of customer centric approach.
Authorised dealer of whirlpool - Hariom Electronics Ahmedabad - is failing to deilver refrigerator (230 L Fusion Metallic) already booked (payment made) in the period committed. Mr Anurag Tiwari Sales Executive & Customer Care Centre always found busy or with a word sorry - Cutomer service seems to be hopeless of such a big brand.

Whirlpool 7230 — not attending complains

Respected Sir ,
We had whirlpool refrigerator model no 7230, we also have a 2 year's service contract.
I just want to inform u that i had just registered my complain on 19/4/2010 and my complain no is AH[protected] this complain was being closed by there technician without doing any thing... when we call to service center they inform us that your complain has closed
On 20/4/2010 we again reg our new complain i.e AH[protected] till now no one bothered to come and see what customer is needed

Ridiculus way of closing call.Himanshu call center guy and floor manager dipesh showing their inability to get my call attended ................more then 3 weeks gone my washing machine even covered in warranty not geting attended by customer call engineer.

Whirlpool 310 Refrigerator — defective set

Dear Sir
Ihave purchased a brand new Fridge Whirlpool Professional on MArch 6 2010. It has started giving complaints after two months of purchase. During this period atleast 4 engineers has visited from whirlpool but they have not given me a solution. I want my fridge to be replaced as its only two months and under guarantee period. I am not interested in any kinds of repairs now. Kindly help me out in taking suitable action.

Whirlpool — A/C not working

Plz note that I have purchased window 1.5 ton AC in month of May'2009 & in March I have registered a complaint for 1st wet service & there was not a single positive reply from your side & after following a week with your customer care then it got serviced after finally talking to Mr.Vipin in Whirlpool.

Now I have again complained on 22nd April that there is some problem coming in starting the compressor , Plz note below your executives name datewise -

22nd April - Mr.Manu attended the call & given me the complaint# GB[protected] with the secret code
23rd April - Mr.Sunil - I have to again call next day because there was no action taken in 24 hours.
23rd April - engineer came & saw the AC & told us that there is some gas problem & he will come on 24th April to take the AC along with him to fill the gas at his service centre & return the AC by 26/27th April.
25th April - Again I called & this time Mr.Ashish took the call & put me on hold for 15-20minutes then I disconnected the call & make the new call & this time Mr.Himanshu took the call & assured me that my AC work will be done in next 24hours but till date there was not a single call even from Whirlpool engineer that he will come to site.

Plz confirm that this problem will be solved in next 24 hours ??


Iam feeling that I have done a big mistake by purchasing Whirlpool product in my life because there is no back support & will never suggest to any of my relatives or friends to take Whirlpool product.

Whirlpool — Refrigerator not cooling effectively

My complaint number lodged on 14-April number is DL[protected]. To date it is lying unresolved and they are still saying that part is to be delivered.
I am K.A.shah, Baroda Gujarat. I had purchased wp freeze 310 ltr-2door, professional model from Croma Electronics in Baroda Central Mall, on 13th Dec-08. Just in 3 months compressor failed. Being under warranty, we asked to replace the piece, but after a long fight, they replaced only the compressor.

Today just after one year on 30 th April, 2010, again compressor failed and replaced.

But, the replaced compressor is found defective, and engineer himself agreed to replace the piece once more after fifteen days. The replacement it self took 7 days and again 15 more days in this chilling heat? It is felt that there is no meaning to purchase freez. The company's aftersales service is total hopeless.

One will wonder, what QUALITY of spares and service this company provides???????

I would definately advise not to buy any whirl pool equipments in India

Dear Sir,

This is to bring in your notice that I am using the AC of whirlpool 1.5 ton from last 3.5 years & from last 20~25 days I am facing the problem as the compressor gets trip offenly.

I have made N number of complaints in the customer care vide some of the complaint nos are as GB[protected] / GB[protected] / GB[protected].
During the visit evry engineer has his own theory to explain but my problem has still not been rectified.
(i.e one engineer says filter is dirty / another says that capacitor is faulty / another one says that you have to create the holes on the wall so the the air will pass freely while as the space between the AC & half partition is min 1.5 mtrs.) Every engineer is confused & tryes to make me fool as per my calculations the Compressor is faulty. I request you to deploy some well trained engineer to check my AC as I am sufferring a lot in this hot summer.

Your early response in this regard will be highly appriciated.

India Today Book Club / Whirlpool Microwave Oven — non delivery of ordered item

I have booked an order for a Whirlpool Microwave Oven vide Booking ID No.[protected] on 05/04/2010 by paying Rs. 7098/= through Credit Card. My querries through customer care No. [protected] or e-mail have resulted in reply with " please provide alternative address". When I insisted that on the same address I have been provided orders in the past with door delivery then I was replied that the delivery is delayed as the item is out of stock. Last contact I was told to wait for few more days and the delivery shall be effected within six to seven days time. Now it is almost +40 days since I have placed order but there is still no trace of delivery. My ITBC membership No. is 07319994

Hello, The same is order by me and paid Rs. 7098 on 14th April, 2010.

I am also requested to provide alternative address other than GUJARAT. They are requesting to collect it from DELHI??? That was not possible.

Till today no refund, no ITEM! and now not reply of EMAIL, when asking for refund.

i purchased one 320 ltrs refrigerator of whirlpool in 2002. in ajmer.model number of which iswrx32rwh3.from last 5 years i am continuously asking for vegitable tray and shelf from my local service providor and dealer but they are unable to provide them to m e.BUT it came to my sudden surprise that from last year i am complainting about it's working performance,but they are unable to repair it also.IN these day's it is without cooling and i have made complaints many times,i am also ready to pay there service charges and what all which is appropriate.this kind of situation only say's that persons at local service center are not trained and why company shld make and market such product for which they can't provide after sale services

Whirlpool AC — Whirlpool - A very unhappy customer

Why am I posting this experience here?
I understand that any product can have problems and there are some technical problems that do happen. To take care of these kind of situations companies have customer care/service departments. But whirlpool is a company which never listen to their customer after selling the products. I have called them, written them mail but they never get back. They never acknowledge the mails sent on [protected]@whirlpool.com, [protected]@whirlpool.com.

I have purchased a AC on 24th March and my experience after that have *not* being satisfying.
This is the First Time that I have purchased a Whirlpool AC that too because I didn’t have much options of 2 TON window AC from other companies.

The customer service of Whirlpool is very *un-satisfactory*.

The initial (First) compliant was done by my mother on 9th May and in next 2-3 days (12 or 13 May) a engineer (someone by the name of Sahil) visited our home after some investigation he reported that LCD panel has gone bad and the unit will have to be replaced. Since them the unit is lying dismantled in my home (they have taken out the unit from window)

After that we have been calling the customer care of the Whirlpool and have not got any satisfactory answers. There are just three standard lines they have to say:
a) We are sorry for what has happened.
b) We will get back to you by time X. [Which they *never do*]
c) We promise that you will never have to call back again. (But I have to as b never gets done.)

Till date I have placed 6 phone calls and 2 mails but they *never* get back with a satisfactory answer. [It is me who has to call them. THEY NEVER GET BACK]

In addition to this as a customer (who has paid them money for product) I do not have any visibility into what is happing with my complaint. There is no feedback mechanism.

If you ask customer service representative what is the escalation metrics they do not have answer to this.

Please note: The complaint number GB[protected] was made on 19th but Whirlpool customer care can check how many complaints were made from the same mobile.

End Result: More than 13 Days but AC is not working.

The earlier call I mentioned of 10 May (GB[protected]) was closed. I am not sure how can they can do this? Whirlpool people visit you they dismantle your AC. Go back and close your complaint. This is height of *unprofessionalism*.

Today when i called again I was got a opportunity to talk to Mr. Mangeet (some one from escalation) he has again give time till today evening. When i told them that i not happy and would like further escalate this they gave me phone number which don't work[protected] of Some Mr Anil of Whirlpool). I asked him is it possible for you senior to call me they replied *NO*.

I am not sure what is wrong with Whirlpool? Why can't they talk to their customer?
