I am Lalitha Kasthurirangan. I am sending you a detailed mail regarding our concerns for the fault which has happened in our refrigerator due to the negligence of the Whirlpool Technician.My double door refrigerator which is of 250 ltr had no chillness on 24/09/2009.One of your Technician called Mr.Alagarsami changed some of the parts inside the refrigerator for which we were charged .On 25/09/2009,the same issue has raised for which we had no idea about the cause .We lodged a complaint in the customer care on 25/09/2009 again for the same issue.The same Whirlpool Technician(Mr.Alagarsami) came where he changed some heater coil and requested to us to cancel the complaint inspite of the refrigerator kept in observation.We cancelled the complaint based on the assurance that he would visit us the same day 4pm to observe the chillness of the refrigerator.We were asked to keep all the food products by him though it was in observation.But,he didn't turn up the entire day.Around 10:45pm on 25/09/2009 ,when I opened the freezer door,almost all the parts in the refrigerator was melted and the food products and boxes inside were extremely hot.Myself and my Mother were shocked to look at that incident.I immediately switched off the refrigerator and tried reaching the customer care and the Whirlpool Technician(Mr.Alagarsami).Nothing was fruitful.Both o[censored]s couldn't sleep the whole night due to mental agony and stress .We lodged the complaint on 26/09/2009 in the customer care and after great difficulty i got a contact number of Mr.Kasi who is the Manager in the Whirlpool Customer care.I have explained the situation to him and he sent us a Supervisor called Mr.Sarathy who inspected the refrigerator.He assured that he would escalate this issue to the higher authorities and do favour to us.We were given a stand-by refrigerator on 26/09/2009 as it was holiday on 27and 28th of Sep2009.On 30/09/2009 ,I spoke to Mr.SenthilKumar(Customer Care-Regional Head)as I didn't hear a response which was favourable to us.I was assured by Mr.Senthil Kumar that he would get back to us with a favourable solution.But ,we didn't hear from anyone till this afternoon.Mr.Sarathy called us and said to us that Whirlpool couldnot help us in repairing our refrigerator or replacing a new refrigerator.Whirlpool said to us that it could only reimburse the amount that we paid for the spare parts.This is appalling to us.UNCOMPROMISING CUSTOMER CARE is the slogan of Whirlpool.I believe satisfying the customers like us is also a main role for Whirlpool.I expect a favourable solution from the concerned department of Whirlpool.

whirlpool(refrigerator 310L) — technician spoiled our refrigerator
We had purchased a whirlpool refrigerator in the year 2006(june) ,with five year guarantee on its compressor.Its compressor went out of order for the first time in january 2010. It was replaced by the company's technician.we again encountered the same complain on 11/6/2010 and registered a complain for the same. Its compressor was replaced on 12/6/2010 and Rs1600/- were charged but after an hour we faced the same problem for which the technicians examined it and told us that the earlier techs had not flushed and cleaned the cooling pipes as result of which the freezer of the refrigerator is no longer functioning and needs a replacement.For which the cost of the freezer is being charged.Thus the techs have spoilt our fridge and are charging us for the expenses involved.We are not going to pay for the same as the problem has occured due to techs mistake.Kindly ponder over the issue quickly and make our refrigerator functional as soon as possible.
