[Resolved] Whirlpool Ro Elite Water Purifier — Over charging for spare parts | |||
Dear Sir/Madam, Good day to you. My name is Karthick Muthaiyan and I own a Whirlpool water purifier (Pura fresh Elite RO) purchased on 25/10/2008. I used to change the filters involved as per catalog. The service engineers are charging more than what the actual rate of the filters . For e.g: Actual Rate Rate chargerd by ServiceEngg Pre filter : 300 350 Pre carbon filter : 400 490 Plus sediment filter : 410 490 I confirmed the actual price with the customer care (complaint no : 54384) . This is a serious crime of over charging consumers and the magnitude of the crime may be widespread. I do have bills of me being overcharged during different periods. Is it possible to take action against Whirlpool , since the compliant was registered to Whirlpool customer care and the engineers come their service partners.
