If the service provider has denied your service request, it is not fair to blame sosasta for this.

Yes the bloody sosasta is fooling people...this piece of pure should be closed... i too wanted to avail the coupon for some offer but thanks to me that i called first merchant and was surprised to hear that there is no such offer...visiting and using the site is utter waste of time.

You said its not fair to blame sosasta ... cool but can you explain why you felt so. You mean a online shop can sale anything by giving you mouth watering offer and you keep on running from one end to other to cash them out...

Yes, It's a big fraud company. I had ordered some items from Sosasta as per their deal in the website. It's more than a month now, even after repeated mails/calls, I havent received the item. Now they stopped responding also. THIS IS A BIG FRAUD COMPANY.

Yes, same here. I have orderd a product at least 25 days ago, and even after repeated follow ups there is no response from the company or their stupid customer executives. The people I have spoken to out there cannot be bothered and scarcely even sound responsive. THIS IS A REALLY LARGE FRAUD.

sosasta.com is a great portal for cheap deals. the service provider has not fulfilled its end of the bargain. check for the location of the inspirations that has offered the deal to you and call them. the numbers and address should be on the voucher you received.
my company too was featured on sosasta.com and we have enjoyed new clientele because of them. moreover, we have got repeat orders too from the same customers.
it depends on the service provider to fulfill its featured promotion and if they do not as them for a refund, or ask sosasta for a refund as the service providers are paid part of the money only after the validity of the deal expires.

Dear Sir

I would like to report the fraudulent deals offered online through website www.sosasta.com, through their discount voucher and attractive advertisement they are duping customers, in real the service provided by them are below standard and not at all comparable to what they advertise.

I would like to report this to you as cuber crime since this is done online through their website called www.sosasta.com

I would like to share following details of the case where following ad 1 & ad 2 are shown at their website to lure customers, however the room offered by the Sarovar hotel which is partner in their deal is totally different and shown in pic 1 as Room offered.

Ive written multiple mails to their senior management however they have not replied to any mails, if not tackled at this stage these kind of offerings can become larger scams and through their fraudulent deals and advertisement and can dupe thousands of innocent customers.


I'm copying the emails of their respective representative. Please let me know what details are required for this complain. Thanking you.

Agree with most of you, its a big online fraud and I'm trying to take this up with CMBC AWAZ.

Request you to cover this as a part of "PEHREDAR" show in CNBC AWAZ, I'm willing to share my recent experience with online website called www.sosasta.com, where they had show a very attractive
advertisement of hotel in Goa, the room given by the hotel were totally different in compare to ads at their website. After complaining to cyber crime branch of Mumbai and B'lore police these guys immediately
removed the advertisement and deals from their website.

These online scams are growing in India and our cyber laws and consumer protection acts are so weak, need your help. These guys are making attractive advertisements to lure customers
with cheap deals by paying online. If we do not create awareness, how many customers would be taken for ride by these online deals companies.

Issues:

1) what they show and what actually customer gets are totally different
2) Since the customer pays in advance he cannot do anything
3) there is no customer support mechanism
4) customer end up loosing money rather than saving money
5) these guys are in alliance with merchandiser to make profit
6) No real or physical offices where the customer can go and complain

Totally agree their deal are fraudulent in nature to dupe customers, the www.sosasta.com is a online scam.

Sosasta is their to cheat you, dont get into their trap its a total crap. Lucrative advertisement to dupe customer in the name of Groupon. Its going as the one of the big online fraud.

www.sosasta.com — product not delivered after paying money online

I had brought a Branded Goggels ( MTV) from Sosasta.com through online payment with creditcard on May16, 2011.

I had recevied a confirmation mail on the Order with order No.as 29193 and also they had mailed me to get my shipping address to ship the product within 15 working days.

I waited for 15 days, No shipment arrived. I mailed them again and they said it will reach me in net 15 days. I mailed them after a month to here that they had already delveired the product to me, surprisingy I have not recevied the product yet...as on 24th june, 2011.

I had sent them a mail with information on elviery note confirmatin and airwaybill number so that I can authenticate if they actually delivered the product or not. But no response from them. I had sent them atleast 6 mails, but no response from them yet.

Really surprising to see that a compnay which is a part of Groupon not able to handle this in a professional way after so many followups...
