[Resolved]  Yamaha Motors India — bad after sale service

Sir,
I purchased yamaha FZ16 on 4th of jan 09 from vanraj traders rudrapur in uttarakhand.
the chasis no. isME121C[protected] and engine no is 21C1026493.When i went for 1st service of the bike then i only feel the worst service experince in my life. Iam riding yamaha since 1992, and this is my 4th yamaha bike till then.In 1st service the vanraj traders has neither changed the oil filter nor tightned nutbolts, they do not have the air pressure. they have not washed my bike with soap and polished, they did not lubricate the clutch, brakes and other points.their RPM meter is also broken down. and even worst they ahve charged Rs.70 for washing and lubricating the chain.
I request you to make proper service arrangements for servicing the expensive bike like yamaha fz16 in your dealers workshop.this kind of experience make a bad image of yamaha bikes among their old customers.

MYSELF DR AMIT GOYAL, DEPARTMENT OF RADIODIAGNOSIS, DMCH, LUDHIANA. I BOUGHT MY BIKE YAMAHA FZS ON 25/8/10 FROM AMRIT MOTORS, GILL ROAD, LUDHIANA. IT WAS RUNNING FINE. THEN I MET WITH AN ACCIDENT AFTER 1 MONTH. AS MY BIKE IS INSURED I CHANGED THE DAMAGED PARTS. PETROL TANK COVER WAS ALSO CRACKED. THEY FIXED IT USING AN OLD SCRATCHED PIECE AND CHARGED FOR A NEW ONE. AND NOW THE BATTERY IS WORKING VERY POORLY. I GOT IT CHARGED THREE TIMES IT AGAIN GETS DISCHARGED AFTER 10-12 DAYS. THATS REALLY RIDICULOUS. AND THE SERVICE GIVEN WAS VERY POOR.

backside alloy wheel — it is not available in any where at bhubaneswar

on october 10 i have purchase the brand new bike yamaha SZ-X.
before purchase of bike i have been made assured of mileage 50kpl.
when i purchased i found that my bike is giving just a average of 23kpl
on the very first service to excellent yamaha a gave this complain to them about my average.
after servicing they said now every thing is fine.
but it was of no use
second service i did in malad link road yamaha service centre but still the problem remain the same
till today 17th of march i m getting an average of 25 kpl
now what should i do
i m fed up of[censored]r service i have pulsar and unicorn but i wont face such problem
now u recommend me what should i do
planning to go in front of media, just because i have been got cheated by yamaha
if anything u can do so please let me, as u are my last and final option

The following grievances against bike performance are forwarded for you intervention:
I have purchased a motorcycle Yamaha Fazer (Red) Chassis no.ME145S01X92013962 from M/s. INDIA YAMAHA MOTOR PVT.LTD.GF 01-04, MGF MALL SAKET.NEW DELHI -17 on 15th October 2009.Vide Inv No. IYM/SK/09/000160.
I regularly carried out services of the vehicle as per guidelines as recommended through Ahthd service center.
I started getting lots of problems in this bike as

1. Battery acid leakage problem occurred within 01 week caused body damage.

2. Pick up problem & white smoke from engine with in 6 months & replaced the rings piston.
3. Oil leak from head 3 time same problem with in 1 month its white smoke from engine after overhauling I sent my bike at ADARSH YAMAHA authrized service center for repair on 10/01/2011, but according to the manager no parts were available.
4. On 10/02/11 it was re sent to workshop till date I have not recd back after repair & even the bill of repair has been paid on 16.0.11 but vehicle is not delivered because they have lost my key which was having a remote of centre lock also.
5. Now I am not in any status & without vehicle.
6. With all above I am forced to approach Consumer forum for my harassments & compensations.

my name is sachin ipurchase yamaha Fz-s from northen yamaha faridabad(Haryana).he After Sales Service of the bike is too bad the bike is running perfectly but at the time of service I really demoralized when I see my front wheeel is littel bit jam i always face new problem after service.my experiences with your dealer here in my city are not really good.

RAI Motors — Replace new parts with old one

I have a Daewoo car. The company is closed and it is tough to get parts.
Got my car serviced in Hyderabad and spent close to 15000 changing bearings, drive shaft etc. It was new one and could feel the smoothness. I drove to Bangalore and had a bumper dent because a motorbike hit.
I too to RAI motors and wanted to get this dent removed. They did it and cleaned my car too. They took 2 days. I took the car back after paying 8000 and a little later started feeling gripping sound when the wheel rotates. Was worried but continues driving. Sometime later, car's alternator developed problems. I too the car to another known mechanic and he inspected and said that alternator needs re-winding. Bearings are gone and drive shaft in front needs replacement. i was shocked.
Their modus operandi is to loot cars with newly changed good parts for spoilt one for two advantages . . . one they could replace other vehicle's parts with this and bill them. The car which is looted would return to them to rectify the same.
I contacted another person who also owned a Daewoo and met him there when he came for servicing . . . He too felt the same and it was his second time he had come there. He vowed not to even go close to RAI motors near Hebbal for the fear of loosing his hard earned money. If you value your money and car, please avoid RAI motors . . this is my personal experience and suggestion.

RD motors... — not giving the registration number

i Dr.Avishek GuhaRoy...bought a tata nano cx modle from kolkata(B.T. Road showroom)..on 14th i hd given all the money company require from me for registration..they told me (sales manager Gautam roy and sales executive Krishnendu Ghosh) my car will be ready within 4 days... but it has been two wks after that dey didnt even borther to cl me once..i caldd them repitedty,,, both this two person is compleatety avoiding me n ignoreing me,,,last wednesday on 3rd od this month they said ur car in ready u can take it.. i went to showroom on friday 3rd june,,,n seen they hv given me temporary registraion.. i refused to take delivery at that time.. but again they told me to tk the car and ur registration vl b available on monday plz bear with them...bt it hs been again one week they hvnt contact me yet... i cl dem on tuesday bt again they r not reciveing my cls ...... i am totally fade up wid tata motors....
plz it vl b so kind i[censored] plz look into this matter.....

Worst things i had to face -

Kamal Motors (Dealer)- Ratnagiri (Maharashtra)

After sells service

Speedometer changed 3 times in 1and half year (first replacement was only in 7 days from the date i purchased )

Bothe tires (rear changed at 18000)

tires are not easily available - you need to puchase them in black (with extra cost)

kamal motors could not fix up new tire to rear wheel which they bought it on their own)

they again changed the tire and sent me another one and for all this fix up i had to pay for transport charges even though they made the mistake of bringing different size tire.

Battery was gone in 7 months
(but got the new one from them in one month till i was starting by bike by rolling it and leaving the clutch )

now my chain kit need to replace.

tale often goes off, head lamp flasher is not working

Often liners gets jammed

color is not shining now (just two and half years)

Anyway -

i am ready to pay for the maintenance of the bike, i can spend lot on my bike to keep it in best condition but this bike just drags me down whenever i am planning to go out with it and the dealer is just too good not to help you.

i bought a bike yamaha fazer from pank yamaha satna.and i was charged for registration of the bike but it has been almost 4 months since i bought the bike in april 2011 and i m yet to recieve the registration certificate.the dealer is not at all cooperative and has not given money for registration to the agent.even he is reluctent to pick up the calls.since i work in army n not able to contact them frequently therefore its my sincere request from the concerned authorities to take strict action aginst the above mentioned dealer.

Yamaha Bike Szx — betrayal by yamaha frenchies

I perchased yamaha bike szx on 16 november 2010 from arsh interprises situated at dehradun, they give me assurance that this bike give you average upto 60 kmlitre but still after 9 months I am getting 30 kmllitre average I complaint many time but they are not taking any relevant action, I have completed my 4 bike services even though they are unable to resolve my problem , I become feed up I asked change my bike, but they are not giving any response plz short out my problem I will be very grateful to you

This is sharath from Bangalore, and I’ am sharing my bad experience with Yamaha Service, Orion Motors Bangalore.
I bought FZ-S from Orion Motors Bangalore – (Opp to Forum mall). And I gave my bike for first service and I got it back on the same evening after I pay 720 (Oil + polishing). But I didn’t noticed during the delivery that the head light frame (one with the glass finish) was got cracked, and due to rain the moisture formed Inside the headlight. The very next day I visited the showroom to report about the damage but they simply said ‘we are not responsible for that and we don’t know how it has happened!!!’. They were very rude and irresponsible. I suspect that the damage happened due to the laziness of the technician or improper way of handling the bike, as the headlight frame is of plastic it could break in one single mistake during service. And I trust Yamaha quality that it shouldn’t break so soon without any external load. Still they were not ready accepting their fault, but the supervisor gave me a bull- solution that ‘we will replace the damaged part by another bike wait for 10 more day’. Is this the kind Service doing in Yamaha? Or it’s just a fate for all Yamaha buyers?

Iam riding yamaha since 1992, and this is my 4th yamaha bike till then.during the last 4 months the self of the bike is not working properly, i.e. it neds to give a lot of accelerator to get start. i showed it a many times to the dealer but they are unable to make it out. they changed many of it's parts but still unable to find out the problem .
I request you to make proper service arrangements for servicing the expensive bike like yamaha fz16 in your dealers workshop.this kind of experience make a bad image of yamaha bikes among their old customers. plz search out the problem at a much higher level. i'll be highly oblized..

i have bought yamaha r15 from yamaha showroom in wakdewadi pune.i have faced many problems, whever we go with any problem of the bike there is no one to look after or to take care offf.the engineers which are appointed in the showroom have no knowledge about the bikes many times i have got my bike repared from the local garage mechanic. i think this is very pathetic and we not axpect such service from the reputed company like yamaha, So please do take care of it..
