Yatra.com — Non refundable money

Hi,

I have cancelled a ticket from Chennai to Coimbatore in nilagiri express fist class AC which was booked through Yatra.com. Ref number is QW90HE
I tried contacting them.But there is no response. The ticket which I cancelled is a refundable ticket.I cancelled it on 15th October.But till now I didnt get the refundable...

Yatra Online Private Limited, India — Yatra.com charging more on cancellation of flights

I have booked an e-ticket from Yatra.com from Delhi to Bhubaneshwar for Rs. 3984 on 28-Oct-2011 for Jetairways flight no. 9W-2287.

On 29-Oct-2011, I booked another ticket for the same flight and same date for my wife for Rs. 3484, this time directly from jetairways.com website.

On 9-Nov-2011, I had to cancel both these tickets. Jet Airways didn't charged me a single penny for this cancellation.

Yatra.com mentioned it clearly that their cancellation charges are Rs. 250, which was pretty fine but they also levied an airline cancellation charge of Rs. 750, which I was not able to understand.

It is very hard to believe that Airline charges more to the Agents as compared to normal travelers.

On posting this complaint on their forum they replied that "We would like to inform you that the airline cancellation charges are different from booking to booking so that is the reason that we deducted Rs 350 as airline charge and Rs250 Yatra charge in your booking.you can confirm the same from airline also."

On this I again informed them that they have charged me Rs. 750 as airline cancellation fee not Rs. 350 (this was actually the base fare). Here they acknowledged their mistake and refunded me back the Rs. 400.

The point I am trying to make here that because of not having any knowledge about the airline cancellation fee most o[censored]s do not even care about paying Rs. 750 (or more) to these online agents and they are easily fooling us, inflating their revenues and going for IPOs

I think RTI Act should be applicable to these private companies also where they disclose what they are actually doing. Though the money involved is not that significant but as a citizen, I would surely like to raise this issue to the higher authority.

i m facing the same problem. No contact number intact is reachable and I am trying for last 2 days. Emailed as well for cancellation but no response. I need to fly today urgently. All these company do is apologize and get satisfied rather taking responsibility for such lethargic service.

Yatra.com — no booking of ticket done but payment claimed

On 03/12/2011 I tried to book ticket from Kanpur to Ranchi online through Yatra.com. Payment was made through SBI debit card. just one minute before of completion of transaction I received a mail from yatra.com stating that there are no two ticket available although payment amount of Rs.355/- was already credited from my account.

But to my shock when i received the card statement i found that yatra.com had claimed the amount for ticket which they had never booked on 03/12/2011. i try to calll the costomer care no. which was never received till date.
Kindly apprise me as to what steps i have to take.

Payment was made through kotak bank debit card. just one minute before of completion of transaction I received a mail from yatra.com stating that there are no two ticket available although payment amount of Rs.602/- was already credited from my account.

Yatra.com — Yatra folks not replying past 2 weeks!!!Refund against cancellation of Kingfisher flight

Ticket was booked for flight IT-4573 on 19-Nov-2011 from Kolkata to Ranchi (2 Pax) through YATRA.COM.

This flight got cancelled and I have been following up with Yatra.com for last 2 weeks for refund. Customer Service was unable to answer this on phone and no replies after couple of follow-ups.

Domestic Holiday Voucher
Applicable for minimum 3 nights /4 days domestic holiday packages.
Domestic Hotel voucher
Applicable for minimum stay of 3 nights.
Domestic Air Travel Voucher
Applicable on return travel booking (to and fro) on basic Air fares only.

Ina Aluwalia representative of Shiftthoughts.com , commitment that received mail within one day & kit of vouchers with 4-5 working days after online transaction of Rs. 6660/- through HDFC CARD.
Till today I have not received any mail or courier, also I have tried landline no.[protected], but no response.
Please help for vouchers or recovery of money.

Yatra.com — NOT GIVING REFUND AMOUNT

I felt worst customer care from Yatra. I request not to book railway tickets on yatra.com. I cancelled my booked ticket and could not able to get my refund amount Rs.34440/-. If i tried to contact customer care, no body for the train queries. If i contact flight department in customer care, they just disconnect the line if we ask for train quiries.

But, the fact is after cancelled my ticket last 10 days, i am not able t get my refund amount. If i send mail to [protected]@yatra.com; there is no reply.
