Refund of my membership fee rs 150000/- from country holiday inn membership no chisdlsa775102

I want to refund amount rs 150000/- which is paid to chis (Country holiday inn and suites) company on dated 13/08/2018, because chis company a fraud company,
Company sales person make fake verbal promises and informed us - during the holiday tour fooding/pickup, drop expenses borne by chis company. Sightseeing
Arranged by company only fuel charge will be paid by member. Sales person also said if our service not satisfactory that you can cancelled agreement at any
Time and got refund any time. As per your agreement and customer care told us fooding /pickup/drop/sightseeing's expenses will be borne by member an additional
Charge. Chis sales person also told that company having more than 150 property in abroad and more than 1000 property in india. (That's not truth)

That's why i am not believing fake promises and company. I am continue trying to get refund from company form[protected].
I have written to many time to customer care of chis and sales person but they are try to clear my membership inquiry call and accept the membership plan and make
Continue fake promises.
This is a fraud company and making fools. I have not availed any facility from company only membership number provided me, i have informed customer care that
Your sales persons have sold policy with fake promises, but company not ready to return my money they told me for contact to sales person and sales person told us

They are continue trying for acceptence of My membership by me and revert of compliant from consumer foarum, but they are not agreed for amount refund.


I am refused your offer and wants my hard erning money. Because CHIS company was received money from me by wrong way and wrong procedure.

As per the conversation with Mr.Saini his query is being resolved now and also an email is being sent to him confirming the same.
As per his own mail being sent to us we have agreed to provide him all services under his CHIS membership and sent him an email confirming and replying to his mail only that he would be given pick and drop and sightseeing as per KM basis and also on food would get upto 30% discount and from our end is providing 100% service as per his CHIS membership deed as the KYC docs been signed by him and he is now doing some unreasonable requests which could not and should not be entertained.

and the same has been sent to him as per his own request and now as he has mutually signed the KYC docs and we are ready to provide 100% services but he is moving towards only cancellation and as he doesnt have no viable reason for cancellation which comes under our cancellation and refund policy..although not taking and replying to our calls as well.
We are really thankful to you for your kind cooperation as your query with CHIS has been resolved now.
Today I received a call from Mr Rahul Arora (Sr Customer Relationship Manager), he was saying that we have more then 5000 hotels but only those(only 67 in India) hotels are listed on web site which have signed a contract with us and for rest of the hotels we will use third party service. And we can't provide you the list of 5000+ hotels because they regularly keep changes.

Secondly he was accepting that Club mahindra has customer in lakhs that's why they have large number of complaints and we just have 3000+ customer only all over India so we have less no of complaints.

    I have taken their membership in july 2018. You are the king to the company on the day they are selling their plan. They will promise you everything you want to hear. They charged 1.8 lacs for their membership on the assurance that they will provide guaranteed accommodation with 20% discount on air tickets, visa assistance and showed all the wonderful properties on the site. After buying the membership, the only thing we have seen that those same sales persons do not even pick up the call to fulfill their promises. On asking company about accommodations, company says they do not have properties in the locations that the sales person showed to us. They have limited properties and we can only book the same day if any given property name is sent to us. For repeated 40 days of trying to contact the sales persons, he got one iterinary ready for us which included all hotel fares and everything and it was expensive than any local vendor would provide us, it included costs of hotels as well. After telling them why hotels cost is included, they say check with reservations for other types of booking, for international complete package we charge for hotels as well. If you are on the table of sales person, you can visit any country in dreams in just 30 minutes and enjoy a lot, but once you buy the package, your dreams will vanish in face of reality. Now i am frustrated with such approach and i am looking forward to taking this complaint forward.

    As per discussion with Mr. Rahul Arora from CHIS, he has assured that all promised will be fulfilled and he will be working himself on providing all services that have been promised. I am taking back this complaint on his assurance now.

      My worst experience with a country holiday inn & suites (Chis), don’t confuse it with brand (Country inn & suites)

      I have recently become the victim of chis fraudulent tactics forcing me to take their membership but i somehow managed to save nearly half the amount but got into their trap to pay half the amount via credit card.

      The sweetness and gesture the sales team will show while selling their membership, you will be bound to fall into their trap and once your card is swipe, they will give you an agreement to sign stating that this is the written commitment of what we discussed showing the amount paid. They will not let you read the other conditions saying that you can read it later (Taking advantage of the situation that we were in a hurry to leave to attend some function)

      They had made many false promises as below:

      1. During selling of membership, there executive told that the 'annual maintenance charges (Amc) are to be paid once you complete 7 days of trips, but when checked there agreement, it's mentioned that amc charges are to paid at the time of making booking and when confronted on this point they even lied and said they didn't say any such thing.

      2. Regarding refund policy, the executive told that after taking 1 trip we can go for cancellation of the membership by paying only 'administration charges' (15000 flat and no other charges). However they don't mention any such point in agreement. On high request they agreed to send mail mentioning refund policy. On checking the mail i found that, there are other charges also like asf/amc and gst to be deducted extra. (Again a false communication while selling membership).

      3. They claimed to have been the affiliate partners of famous brand 'country inn and suites' but when confronted, there executive reluctantly denied this affiliation and told that they have no relation with this group and they are totally separate chain.

      4. They claim to have 147 owned properties at different location globally but that's again a false claim from their side.

      On asking for refund they are forcing to first pay the full amount, then take a mandatory trip and then ask for refund which is no where mentioned in their agreement. Keeping all their false promises i can't be assured that they will refund my money even if i make a full payment to them at this stage.

      I am utterly dissatisfied with their false promises and their fraudulent activities and i can't be assured how there services will be in future. I want my refund which i have already paid for there membership/ownership.

      Got initial call from Mr Rahul(Senior Manager) and then further from Mr Ujjwal Roy(General Manager) to resolve my issue. Mr Roy on behalf of CHIS has assured me to refund the amount after deducting administration charges of Rs 15000/-. Marking as resolved now.
      Kindly provide the membership id and contact no. as should be resolved at earliest.

        Country holidays inn & suites fraud, false promises, refusing refund and forcing membership against our will

        1. During selling of membership, there executive told that the 'annual maintenance charges (Amc) are to be paid once a year wheras their executive during telecofirmation and when confronted on this point they even lied and said they didn't say any such thing.

        2. Regarding refund policy, the executive told that after taking 1 trip we can go for cancellation of the membership by
        Paying only 'administration charges' (15000 flat and no other charges). However they don't mention any such point in Agreement.

        3. They even did not disclosed the clause of age of children allowed on the vacation. When confronted for the same the company refused and claimed that their representative had explained the same. When the same representative was contacted them he made all the possible excuses and said that he will arrange for some sort of compensation whereas we were of the ipenion of claiming the refund. He even requested that if we go for vacation once our all queries will be resolved. When contacted for vacation planning then the company claimed that as per their policy one can plan for the vacation only after 21 days of receipt of membership card and membership documents. And it has been 15 days since our transaction and they have still not yet despatched the documents. On contacting Me Akash and Mr Sahil ( the company representative who attended us ) they refused.

        4. They claim to have 147 owned properties at different location globally but that's again a false claim from there side.

        I am utterly dissatisfied with there false promises just at this beginning stage and i can't be assured how there services will fare up. It's my humble request that as I have made a mistake please don't repeat the same. DON'T REPEAT DON'T GO FOR COUNTRY HOLIDAYS INNS AND RESORTS AS RHEY ARE FRAUD.

        Hi Nitin, we all are victim of their fraud but sailing in separate boats instead of joining hands. Together we can purse legal matter against CHIS

        Here is “Country Holiday Inn and Suits (CHIS)” list of Fake and False Acquisitions:
        1. CHIS own 6500+ properties worldwide. But the ground reality is CHIS don’t own a single property. All they do is book Standard Rooms though online travel sites.
        2. CHIS provide 5 star accommodation at very low price. But the reality is CHIS provide standard room in 2 stay hotels. To lure innocent citizens and get positive reviews for their website/mobile App on Playstore and Appstore, they initially arrange free 1 night stay in 5 star hotels like Roseate House, Aerocity, New Delhi or Hyatt Regency, Delhi.
        3. During initial casual talk (which they call as presentation), they smartly give references of “Country Inn and Suits” hotels (the famous brand of Radisson group) and if you catch them, they immediately say no they meant to say “Country Holiday Inn and suites (CHIS)”. Smart tactic to create fascinating impression on general public but in reality its all fake. Their representatives even doesn’t know about famous hotel chains, classification of rooms and/or rewards programs. Their goal is to show something fascinating but when I caught them red handed, the executive said she will ask her senior to clarify but it didn’t happen and the smartly deviated the conversation to other topic.
        4. Since CHIS own these properties, our members have to pay “Annual maintenance charge (AMC)” which varies from 8260 to 10500. If you don’t use holiday in a calendar year, you need not to pay AMC. But their terms and conditions say completely opposite to this – its talks about “Annual Subscription Fee (ASF)” and they can change it anytime without any notice and if you fail to pay your membership stands void unless you clear the dues. Now here is the catch:
        a. Firstly their words of mouth didn’t match their terms and conditions, refer to attached images and Terms & conditions.
        b. Secondly, they never let you read the terms and conditions and make you sign it on dotted line by taking advantage of the situation, as I already mentioned in my consumer forum complaint.
        c. CHIS doesn’t own any property hence AMC/ASF is not applicable which they said is towards the maintenance of properties.
        d. They say plan your vacation well (min 30 to 60 days) in advance, when you do it yourself, Standard rooms in 2 or 3 star hotels are easily available at nominal cost of INR1700 to 2200 (room rate), for 5 to 6 night the cost will cost somewhere between 8500 to 13200 and that is exactly what they are charging you under the name of AMC or ASF. Smart way to fool honest citizens.
        e. If the standard room is not available at your vacation/holiday destination, they will simply deny booking and you can’t do anything.
        5. Now referring to Clause 17 of the impugned contract where CHIS themselves acknowledges, whatever has been told/communicated by their employees or representatives either verbal, written or through email is all fake/false and is superseded by CHIS terms & conditions which their employees never let you read and CHIS can changes anything anytime at its own discretion. This clearly implies, Country Holiday Inn and suits (CHIS) doesn’t has any standards of business conduct and has no core business values nor even of his own employees. This simply proves prompters of CHIS are running big SCAM, exploiting Indian Laws and looting Public. They must be brought under the scrutiny of law enforcement agencies. Such an organization can declare bankruptcy overnight and promoters can flee. CHIS website even didn’t disclose who are its promoters.
        6. There has been no mention of any cooling off period is their impugned contract. Its only mentioned on their website under refund policy https://www.countryholidaysinnsuites.com/refund-policy
        7. So far employees (doesn’t hold any value as per Clause 17 of their terms & conditions) of CHIS has been refusing to return/refund money on basis on this Impugned contract (which has not been signed by any authorized signatory of CHIS), referring to the consumer forum Ludhiana (Case No.553, Dt.05.07.2012) the Hon’ble Judge specifically addressed this issue of ‘non-refundability’ – “Further the plea taken by the OPs (Country Vacations) that as per the terms and conditions of the impugned contract, the membership fee once paid is non-refundable is also not sustainable, as the impugned contract is one sided standard form of contract (where the parties are not equal in the bargaining power) which the OPs got prepared according to serve their interest and the complainants were supposed to sign only on the dotted line. For such a view we are guided by the judgement by the Hon’ble Supreme Court reported in AIR1986 (SC) 1571.”
        8. Since the day one I never agreed to their membership offer and has been requesting them to return/refund the money which they stole under than name of checking special offers on my credit card. CHIS has no right to refuse refund of Money which their employees stole using illicit, unlawful and illegal way as already narrated well in my complaint on consumer forum (copy attached).
        9. Whenever I approached CHIS, all you get is threatening where they state – “Do whatever you want to do we have our contacts in Delhi Policy, Lawyers and Income Tax department” during my last meeting with them, even their relationship manager “Rahul Arora” repeated the same wording. He even said – we are not afraid of anything not even India laws.

        Lets not just let them walk away just like that when they took our hard earned money. lets together bring them to justice and get our hard earned money back, inbox me your contact details and will add share further details.

If you don’t use holiday in a calendar year, you need not to pay AMC. But their terms and conditions say completely opposite to this – its talks about “Annual Subscription Fee (ASF)” and they can change it anytime without any notice and if you fail to pay your membership stands void unless you clear the dues. Now here is the catch:
        a. Firstly their words of mouth didn’t match their terms and conditions, refer to attached images and Terms & conditions.
        b. Secondly, they never let you read the terms and conditions and make you sign it on dotted line by taking advantage of the situation, as I already mentioned in my consumer forum complaint.
        c. CHIS doesn’t own any property hence AMC/ASF is not applicable which they said is towards the maintenance of properties.
        d. They say plan your vacation well (min 30 to 60 days) in advance, when you do it yourself, Standard rooms in 2 or 3 star hotels are easily available at nominal cost of INR1700 to 2200 (room rate), for 5 to 6 night the cost will cost somewhere between 8500 to 13200 and that is exactly what they are charging you under the name of AMC or ASF. Smart way to fool honest citizens.
        e. If the standard room is not available at your vacation/holiday destination, they will simply deny booking and you can’t do anything.
        5. Now referring to Clause 17 of the impugned contract where CHIS themselves acknowledges, whatever has been told/communicated by their employees or representatives either verbal, written or through email is all fake/false and is superseded by CHIS terms & conditions which their employees never let you read and CHIS can changes anything anytime at its own discretion. This clearly implies, Country Holiday Inn and suits (CHIS) doesn’t has any standards of business conduct and has no core business values nor even of his own employees. This simply proves prompters of CHIS are running big SCAM, exploiting Indian Laws and looting Public. They must be brought under the scrutiny of law enforcement agencies. Such an organization can declare bankruptcy overnight and promoters can flee. CHIS website even didn’t disclose who are its promoters.
        6. There has been no mention of any cooling off period is their impugned contract. Its only mentioned on their website under refund policy https://www.countryholidaysinnsuites.com/refund-policy
        7. So far employees (doesn’t hold any value as per Clause 17 of their terms & conditions) of CHIS has been refusing to return/refund money on basis on this Impugned contract (which has not been signed by any authorized signatory of CHIS), referring to the consumer forum Ludhiana (Case No.553, Dt.05.07.2012) the Hon’ble Judge specifically addressed this issue of ‘non-refundability’ – “Further the plea taken by the OPs (Country Vacations) that as per the terms and conditions of the impugned contract, the membership fee once paid is non-refundable is also not sustainable, as the impugned contract is one sided standard form of contract (where the parties are not equal in the bargaining power) which the OPs got prepared according to serve their interest and the complainants were supposed to sign only on the dotted line. For such a view we are guided by the judgement by the Hon’ble Supreme Court reported in AIR1986 (SC) 1571.”
        8. Since the day one I never agreed to their membership offer and has been requesting them to return/refund the money which they stole under than name of checking special offers on my credit card. CHIS has no right to refuse refund of Money which their employees stole using illicit, unlawful and illegal way as already narrated well in my complaint on consumer forum (copy attached).
        9. Whenever I approached CHIS, all you get is threatening where they state – “Do whatever you want to do we have our contacts in Delhi Policy, Lawyers and Income Tax department” during my last meeting with them, even their relationship manager “Rahul Arora” repeated the same wording. He even said – we are not afraid of anything not even India laws.
        Country holidays inn & suites - chis is a fraud company they did same with me. Country holidays inn & suites (CHIS) are not ready to refund my hard earned money. Country holidays inn & suites (CHIS) trapped me on 21-Oct-2018 by doing a lots of false commitment and now Country holidays inn & suites (CHIS) are saying that this is marketing strategy to trape innocent peoples.

          I had recently purchased the membership with chis for 10 years and gone through very bad experiences of their services and staff behavior. Let me narrate the whole experience

          Wrong commitment and information,
          1. At the time of giving package your officer provided me wrong information about interest, as per them interest not applicable on my credit card emi. But after payment i came to know that interest added in my payment. Then he confirmed me that interest amount will refund to you through cheque right now. And after 5 minutes again statement changed and denied for refund and now new story came in picture, if you will continue our membership after 12 months 5000 rs will reduce from your final amount.

          2. Compare to online booking, package room tariffs are higher.

          3. After payment i came to know about amc.

          4. When i contacted to mr. Prabhanshu gour (Take over manager) for cancelation then first he denied and after my regular request he suggested me that we will deduct 15000 rs from your deposit amount and remaining amount will refund you. I denied and informed him that now only your customer care team will help me. And after that he started misbehaving and bola (Jaha baat karni hai kar lo refund nahi honai dunga).

          It is my humble request, please help and make my payment.
          After all such incident i don't want any relation with your group.

          With the help of Mr Rahul my issue has been resolved now and CHIS is ready to refund full 100% amount of 40000 rs. this confirmation has been given over the calls.
          Please confirm details on mail from where and when i will collect cheque.

          Today I received a call from Mr Rahul Arora (Sr Customer Relationship Manager), he was saying that we have more then 5000 hotels but only those(only 67 in India) hotels are listed on web site which have signed a contract with us and for rest of the hotels we will use third party service. And we can't provide you the list of 5000+ hotels because they regularly keep changes.

          Secondly he was accepting that Club mahindra has customer in lakhs that's why they have large number of complaints and we just have 3000+ customer only all over India so we have less no of complaints.

            Mr. Raunit, venue manager of this company sold the membership with fake promises to me with membership id chisdls774453. At the time of membership they told that i can avail 3 room per day for any trip. When i tried to book the trip to udaipur, they are denying to book 3 room as they said you cant book 3 room because you have owned a membership only for 1 room. I purchase this only in terms that they will provide 3 rooms everytime when we go for vacation with family, now they denying the statement. Actually they denied all the things said at the time presentation. I have paid 140000 for this membership with amc extra. Almost 250000 for nothing. I need to cancel the memership without availing any single trip.

            Please cancel my membership asap and refund the full amount.

              Through this complaint i am notifying you about the fraud happened to me made by country holidays inn suites (Chis) company.
              I have taken their membership on 17th june 2018 and my membership id is chisdlsd774070. When i was approached by the sales team
              For taking the membership, initially i was reluctant to take the membership. After around 1hr of conversation with the sales staff
              Mr. Sharukh still i was not willing to take the membership but then the sales manager mr. Abdul khursid had came to me and personally
              Promised me that he will help me with any issues i am going to face related to this membership. Both the sales staff had told me lots of
              Features about the membership. By believing the sales team and taking this membership from chis was my biggest mistake. Many promises
              Were made to me by the sales team while taking membership and now i am realizing that many of those are utter lies. One of the lies i am mentioning here.

              While taking membership it was told to me that, i am taking ownership not membership. I can book more than one room in and out of india
              As and when it is required. But on 2nd july, when i sent mail to booking team for singapore itinerary, booking team told me as per policy
              I can not book more than 1 room and asked me to contact the sales person from whom i took membership. I have contacted the sales guys for
              Around 10 days after that and they told me that they will definitely help me out in this regard as they have promised me this while taking
              Membership. But after few days they started avoiding my call, so i sent a mail to chis customer care to cancel my membership on 11th july.
              For few days they were not paying attention to my query but when i mailed them that i have the call recordings with the sales team guys which
              Will prove the promises made to me and i will approach the consumer court if the issue is not getting resolved. The very next day one chis
              Senior manager mr. Rahul contacted and he asked me to wait for few days, so that he will check with their team what best resolution can be
              Provided to me. He tried to extract more money from me in the name o[censored]pgrading the membership but when i refused to do so he also backed out
              By saying he can't help me out. They are not ready to cancel my membership also. By looking at the company's approach for my concern, it seems
              They have hardly any remorse as here my hard earned money is at stake.

              I have invested money of around rs. 80000/- in this and since they are not ready to cancel the membership it is giving me immense stress and sleepless nights since few days. I have not taken any service from them and i simply want my money back with out any further trouble.
              I request you to kindly help me get my money back as i do not want to associate with this fraud company anymore.

                At the time of sales company makes bold promises about there properties and also that you can accompany you family and friends with you. But once you purchase membership everthing changes. Now you can't book rooms for your family (Parents) along with you.
                After multiple follow ups they agreed to book rooms but changed property category to lower class.
                For a single booking they harras you like anything. The senior members don't talk with you. Worst experience.
                CHIS is running SCAM and nothing else, all they make is big acquisitions which are all fake. Its like, looking at London, talking to Tokyo but in reality they are somewhere in Afghanistan.

                Here is “Country Holiday Inn and Suits (CHIS)” list of Fake and False Acquisitions:
                1. CHIS own 6500+ properties worldwide. But the ground reality is CHIS don’t own a single property. All they do is book Standard Rooms though online travel sites.
                2. CHIS provide 5 star accommodation at very low price. But the reality is CHIS provide standard room in 2 stay hotels. To lure innocent citizens and get positive reviews for their website/mobile App on Playstore and Appstore, they initially arrange free 1 night stay in 5 star hotels like Roseate House, Aerocity, New Delhi or Hyatt Regency, Delhi.
                3. During initial casual talk (which they call as presentation), they smartly give references of “Country Inn and Suits” hotels (the famous brand of Radisson group) and if you catch them, they immediately say no they meant to say “Country Holiday Inn and suites (CHIS)”. Smart tactic to create fascinating impression on general public but in reality its all fake. Their representatives even doesn’t know about famous hotel chains, classification of rooms and/or rewards programs. Their goal is to show something fascinating but when I caught them red handed, the executive said she will ask her senior to clarify but it didn’t happen and the smartly deviated the conversation to other topic.

Whenever I approached CHIS, all you get is threatening where they state – “Do whatever you want to do we have our contacts in Delhi Policy, Lawyers and Income Tax department” during my last meeting with them, even their relationship manager “Rahul Arora” repeated the same wording. He even said – we are not afraid of anything not even India laws.

                Requesting you all to join hands since we all are victims of CHIS, together we can bring its promoters to justice and get our hard earned money back.

                  CHIS (Country Holiday Inn & Suites) company gave me false promises and I purchased their membership. But when I tries to use them, they denied for most of the things committed at the time of Payment.

                  When I mail to their reservations team, they say reservations are not possible. Contact sales team. And sales team don't even pick my phone. They normally pick after I call them 6-7 times and they also say blah..blah terms and conditions.

                  I haven't used any of the Holidays till now, not a single booking and I want to get my money refunded. This is pathetic.

                  CHIS is running SCAM and their customer care manager Mr. Rahul Arora still making fake promises and ask you to mark your complaint as resolved here on consumer forum but in reality looks to me Abhishek has not read their terms and conditions carefully where the clause 17 clearly states, everything is superseded by their terms and condition and even Mr Rahul Arora and his fake promises doesn't hold any value nor his emails.

                  Here is “Country Holiday Inn and Suits (CHIS)” list of Fake and False Acquisitions:
                  1. CHIS own 6500+ properties worldwide. But the ground reality is CHIS don’t own a single property. All they do is book Standard Rooms though online travel sites.
                  2. CHIS provide 5 star accommodation at very low price. But the reality is CHIS provide standard room in 2 stay hotels. To lure innocent citizens and get positive reviews for their website/mobile App on Playstore and Appstore, they initially arrange free 1 night stay in 5 star hotels like Roseate House, Aerocity, New Delhi or Hyatt Regency, Delhi.
                  3. During initial casual talk (which they call as presentation), they smartly give references of “Country Inn and Suits” hotels (the famous brand of Radisson group) and if you catch them, they immediately say no they meant to say “Country Holiday Inn and suites (CHIS)”. Smart tactic to create fascinating impression on general public but in reality its all fake. Their representatives even doesn’t know about famous hotel chains, classification of rooms and/or rewards programs. Their goal is to show something fascinating but when I caught them red handed, the executive said she will ask her senior to clarify but it didn’t happen and the smartly deviated the conversation to other topic.
                  4. Since CHIS own these properties, our members have to pay “Annual maintenance charge (AMC)” which varies from 8260 to 10500. If you don’t use holiday in a calendar year, you need not to pay AMC. But their terms and conditions say completely opposite to this – its talks about “Annual Subscription Fee (ASF)” and they can change it anytime without any notice and if you fail to pay your membership stands void unless you clear the dues. Now here is the catch:
                  a. Firstly their words of mouth didn’t match their terms and conditions, refer to attached images and Terms & conditions.
                  b. Secondly, they never let you read the terms and conditions and make you sign it on dotted line by taking advantage of the situation, as I already mentioned in my consumer forum complaint.
                  c. CHIS doesn’t own any property hence AMC/ASF is not applicable which they said is towards the maintenance of properties.
                  d. They say plan your vacation well (min 30 to 60 days) in advance, when you do it yourself, Standard rooms in 2 or 3 star hotels are easily available at nominal cost of INR1700 to 2200 (room rate), for 5 to 6 night the cost will cost somewhere between 8500 to 13200 and that is exactly what they are charging you under the name of AMC or ASF. Smart way to fool honest citizens.
                  e. If the standard room is not available at your vacation/holiday destination, they will simply deny booking and you can’t do anything.
                  5. Now referring to Clause 17 of the impugned contract where CHIS themselves acknowledges, whatever has been told/communicated by their employees or representatives either verbal, written or through email is all fake/false and is superseded by CHIS terms & conditions which their employees never let you read and CHIS can changes anything anytime at its own discretion. This clearly implies, Country Holiday Inn and suits (CHIS) doesn’t has any standards of business conduct and has no core business values nor even of his own employees. This simply proves prompters of CHIS are running big SCAM, exploiting Indian Laws and looting Public. They must be brought under the scrutiny of law enforcement agencies. Such an organization can declare bankruptcy overnight and promoters can flee. CHIS website even didn’t disclose who are its promoters.
                  6. There has been no mention of any cooling off period is their impugned contract. Its only mentioned on their website under refund policy https://www.countryholidaysinnsuites.com/refund-policy
                  7. So far employees (doesn’t hold any value as per Clause 17 of their terms & conditions) of CHIS has been refusing to return/refund money on basis on this Impugned contract (which has not been signed by any authorized signatory of CHIS), referring to the consumer forum Ludhiana (Case No.553, Dt.05.07.2012) the Hon’ble Judge specifically addressed this issue of ‘non-refundability’ – “Further the plea taken by the OPs (Country Vacations) that as per the terms and conditions of the impugned contract, the membership fee once paid is non-refundable is also not sustainable, as the impugned contract is one sided standard form of contract (where the parties are not equal in the bargaining power) which the OPs got prepared according to serve their interest and the complainants were supposed to sign only on the dotted line. For such a view we are guided by the judgement by the Hon’ble Supreme Court reported in AIR1986 (SC) 1571.”
                  8. Since the day one I never agreed to their membership offer and has been requesting them to return/refund the money which they stole under than name of checking special offers on my credit card. CHIS has no right to refuse refund of Money which their employees stole using illicit, unlawful and illegal way as already narrated well in my complaint on consumer forum (copy attached).
                  9.                   In am in..i was want to do the same.
                  I have used the service is that is very bad. My complaint is already registered but like you said they not afraid of any law. This is directly the case of deficiency of service according to the consumer act.

                  I have provided the review on their FB page and they delete it. It shows they are not reliable.

                  Find the pictures of the hotel which I used Bali in the attachment and now they are not ready for full refund they ask for deduction of 46, 600/- for this poor service.

                  Same happened with us kindly let us know if you are opting for legal help .we would also go for the same as company is not refunding our hard earned money .
                  Yes, we filled complaint against then in district consumer court. You can approach it.
                  This is scam.. we took there deal and now when we are asking then to comfirm hotel booking they are not able to do that which is just for 1 day.. we want refund of our money.

                  I am in the same boat as well, a lot of false promises were made which never got fulfilled. I have had a terrible experience with them. Is there anyone already working to file a legal suite against them? I am more than happy to join hands and work together on this.

                    Worst experience, cheating through proper legal knowledge. please read terms and conditions before signing their contract.

                    I was told by Abdul Khurshid while selling the plan. That I can get you refund after deduction of 15000/- if you don't like the hotels, whereas when I called and checked with customer care after receiving my welcome kit. Whether my amount is refundable or not. She responded that it is not refundable, they will refund in worst case scenarios.

                    I complained for my stay in golden tulip- manali 25th-27th june 2018 on email ID of their customer care. That hotel room was not at all similar to the view shown in the app. Room given to me was having no outside view.(just a closed room covered with walls. No balcony nothing.

                    After complaining I got their usual response, that they will look for better option in future.

                    Please beware ! please beware ! Please beware!

                    I am going to push as much publicity for them, so that their marketing executive stop telling lies to customer in verbal form(no proof being verbal communication) and cheat on our hard earned money.

                      I had recently purchased the membership with CHIS for 10 years and gone through very bad experiences of their services and staff behaviour. Let me narrate the whole experience.

                      1. Initially sales team members promote free holiday vouchers in mall premises and asked you to visit them if you need it. Once you visit their offices, trap starts from there as I have also been the victim of the same.

                      2. They will discuss about their best properties although they do not have tie up with a single 5 star properties in most of the cities. Sales guys make verbal commitment of providing best of services with countless promises that fall flat as soon as you purchase the membership and start dealing with customer service. They take their own sweet time in responding to your queries and will keep asking same question time and again for which response is already provided just to pass the time.

                      3. They have so many clauses which we come to know only after purchasing the membership. No transparency with the customers. Big liars!!!

                      4. When I did my first booking for Roseate House, Delhi through them then they have done wrong bookings instead of which I have asked.

                      5. Finally, my patience got over and I visit their office to understand why they are unable to provide me the services and instead of resolving the issues, I have faced unethical staff behaviour (Mr Shekhar) - Senior sales team member (Heading Noida office) who is very arrogant while talking to me and claiming himself as owner of the company but unable to resolve my single issues and wasted 1.5 hours time.

                      Because of above reasons, I want to cancel this membership and my whole amount of money is refunded which I have paid for the membership.

                      I spoke to the company executive and they are ready to resolve my issues. Hence, I am taking back my complaint.
                      Yes you are right brother Country holidays inn & suites (chis) is a big fraud company they did same with me. They trapped me on october 21st and now they are not returning my money back . Country holidays inn & suites (CHIS) are not ready to refund my hard earned money. Country holidays inn & suites (CHIS) trapped me on 21-Oct-2018 by doing a lots of false commitment and now Country holidays inn & suites (CHIS) are saying that this is marketing strategy to trape innocent peoples.

                        fake promises and claims about the gift vouchers

                        Hi,

                        The country club guys made all false claims and promises about giving holiday voucher. Then they wasted an hour of our time, and gave a voucher which already had clauses as against promised. Nevertheless when i am trying to use it now (With all its untold constraints), they aren't responding to me at all. Not responding to my mail, chat or phone calls.
                        This is height of cheating openly.

                        Hi,
                        I took membership from country holidays inn & suites one year back. Since then i am just trying to book hotel with them, but every time either their hotels are booked or they don't have any property at that location. At the timing of booking they assured us that we don't have to pay first year amc and it is included in the membership fee but now they are demanding it. Also, they are asking us to pay for the the breakfast compulsorily. They are fraud people. They will attend you well when you will go to them to take the membership, after that they won't pick your call. Their toll free number is always busy and by any way you get a chance to talk to them, they will just forward your call to another person who is sometime their colleague, another time their senior and so on.

                        Please cancel my membership asap and refund the full amount. I don't want to continue with you any more.

                          Their employees will lie to you at every point. Never believe anyone of them. They will call you from different names and numbers and will talk rudely or try to scare you to confirm their welcome call. After 4 months of chasing they refunded me after deducting gst charges.

                          They said that the gst amount was paid to the government when the invoice was created and they cannot give it back.

                          They said it might be the fault of their employees but the company will not bear this loss. And, i should be happy that company is refunding me this amount. As if they are doing me a favor by returning me my money after 4 months.

                          But in reality, gst amount can be refunded by raising credit note regarding deal cancellation and mention in their gst returns but they will not tell you about this.

                          So, they are doing a gst fraud here and making a profit by taking an advantage of your situation.

                            This is my worst experience with a Country Holiday Inn & Suites/CHIS (don’t confuse it with Country Inn). The sweetness and the gesture the sales team will show while selling their membership, you will be bound to fall into their trap and once your card is swipe, they will give you an agreement to sign stating that this is the written commitment of what we discussed showing the amount paid. They will not let you read the other conditions...

                            Hi,
                            I have taken their membership in april 2018, and tried booking for manali, they said no rooms available, then tried mussoorie, no rooms available, then few more places like this none of them were available. During sales pitch, we were promised that we can book minimum 3 days before, but in actual we couldn’t get room even before 30 days. I would like to cancel my membership and want refund of money

                            After I have filed complaint in consumer helpline and here, they called and then replied through mail on refund process though it took some time, but issue closed

                              I had taken membership in dec.2017, by paying rs. 1lakh for one year + 4 years, with a cash back of rs. 30k for air tickets.
                              I have applied several times for holidays giving min 60 days prior information, but am not able to get promised accommodation.
                              It's been six months (180 days) i applied for the refund of amount but i am yet to receive any response from the company. I have put 100's of email reminder's with no response.br...

                              Hi,

                              Mr nadeem, sale representive of this company sold the membership with fake promises to me with membership id chibh773548. At the time of membership they told that i can avail 2 room per day for any trip without prepaid amc charges and food. When i tried to book the trip to nanital, they demanded amc and compulsary food charges to me. Why should i take food from your hotel only and pay you the amount before. I paid 40k to them and not able to plan a single trip without paying amc charges. I need to cancel the memership without availing any single trip.

                              Please cancel my membership asap and refund the full amount.

                              I got below email from them:

                              Dear member

                              As per company policy, we regret to inform that booking can't proceed without food and amc charges.

                              Kindly confirm for the same for further booking process.

                              Note:-

                              The booking cannot be cancelled & is subject to availability.
                              We accept bookings only in working hours i. E. 10 a. M. To 6 p. M from tuesday to sunday.
                              The standard check in, check out times will apply as per hotel terms on your mentioned booking dates.
                              Confirmation from the member is required within 24 hours for this booking to be finalized, else we may be forced to give you alternate options.

                              I have also applied for refund after I came to know about their false promises about availing more than 1 room where ever and when ever I want. But they are not letting me cancel my membership by saying membership could not be cancelled. As per them the company has all the rights to cheat the customer but we can't cancel the membership because this is not a valid point for cancellation. I have not taken any booking from them yet.Please can you help me to know whom should I approach or how to get refund.
