Country Holidays Inn & Suites — not refunding the amount | |||
We were shopping in stanmax where someone came distributing the chis lucky draw coupons. We casually gave our name and contact details believing that they are advertising in reputed mall so might be the reliable one to give details. After two days we got the call on 8-april-2019 to collect the coupons from radisson. We went there, attended 45 mins session, which was total waste of time, in lieu of giving the coupons. Its there where they started luring with their properties and offers to sell the membership to us (Shoib khan being our rm for the same). Since its not much of time went off, so we do remember each of false statements marked by them - availability of 4500+ properties nationally and internationally - easy booking facility - atleast 4-5 options in every listed city We were really prompted to take the decision there and then only and leave after making full of the payment as its their policy. We told if we can give the payment in two halves. Rm persuade us to give payment in full and that he can then give us more of the discount. So from rs.2, 00, 000 (Apprx) he offered us same membership in rs.1, 65, 000 (A complete marketing strategy). Somehow he managed to convince us and then making some of the payment through debit card, when we asked him to give rest of the amount next day itself, he offered us to be accompanied by a person to our home to collect the wholesome of payment. We got the payment receipt two days later and that too after asking for it quite no of time. Now i question - how come chis sent a person to accompany to our home to collect payment even after 10.30 pm and when we wanted booking, no one was there to respond and we kept on waiting for days? I mean, they have people to collect money even late night but they cannot respond or book even if you make 100 calls a day. - why is that our rm is not available when we were about to book our holiday? I mean, for initial two days, we kept on calling or texting him but he gave 0 response. - when chis have properties nationally and internationally too, why we were forced to accept the poorest of the property in our holiday? I mean, in the off season of place when the tourist count to minimal at the place; we didn't got the property we wanted even after sharing our preference. Chis told us its non-availability but as we checked from our end, it was definitely and easily available. They gave us only single option to choose from giving us no benefit of choosing. - why there is no single point of contact while making booking? I mean, from day 1, we kept on calling rm, then chis customer care. People there rolled us from one to other. We were getting single response a day. Furthermore, person out there responded when we made numerous requests to them to respond. And all this exhausted us well enough. - why we were asked of extra amount of breakfast when we didn't wanted breakfast to be inclusive? I mean, they told us that paying for breakfast is mandatory but as we refused it they accepted to not charge. Thrashed by our whole experience, as we decided to terminate our membership and checked for formalities on chis website, we followed necessary steps and validated our point of termination. They are now not initiating the termination. They are rather getting us stuck under mail chains for the single issues. We have proofs of our each point said. I don't know now if something else to be followed for terminating the membership. We are highly fed up, any help will be highly appreciated. Was this information helpful? | |||
