Courtesy Honda — pungent smell in ac vents. incompetent workshop staff.

I purchased honda jazz v cvt (Reg. No. Dl 3c cl 6456) on 24th feb 2017 from courtesy honda. Since then i have been visiting courtesy honda bodyshop in okhla phase 2 for servicing. During my last visit for regular service, i told the service manager that there is some issue with ac as when i turn ac off and keep the fan running, a very pungent smell comes from the vents. After which on advise of service manager and engineer, air filter was changed and without even checking whether the problem is resolved or not i was handed the car back after service. I asked many times is the problem addressed and was told yes. Next day i again felt the same issue and i contacted the workshop. I was told that we will have a home visit and get the problem resolved. When the home visit guy arrived he said sir i cannot do anything about it and you have to bring the car to workshop. Then what was the need and purpose of home visit i did not understand. When i asked the same thing i was told that there is a coil which should have been cleaned during the service and was missed by the engineer who serviced your car and i have to visit the workshop as it needs dashboard to be opened which is not possible at your home. All this already wasted a lot of my time with no solution to my problem. I took my car again to the workshop after booking an appointment and i was given assurance that the issue will be fixed today but when i reached i was told that it will take 3 days and you have to leave your car, we cannot do anything today. If this was the case then why was i given assurance in the first place. After i retaliated to their behavior, one of the service manager talked to their gm and it was decided that they will fix the problem and give the car back the same day. I wasted my whole day there waiting. When the issue was resolved from their side i noticed that they have put room freshener in ac vents which suppressed the pungent smell and my car was again handed over to me. While coming back home the freshener fragrance vanished and there was the pungent smell again.

This is really ridiculous that i have wasted my 3 whole days and still the problem is persisting. The worst part is that i have faced similar situation earlier as well with my car horn. I was asked to visit the workshop twice and a home visit was done just to tune the horn. I don't understand what is the problem here. Is the management incompetent to handle or are the engineers not qualified enough to understand and fix the problem.

The issue is still persisting and today i noticed that a small cover from a window is also missing after this visit which is even more frustrating.

This is not enough, the service manager does not even add a record of the problems mentioned while giving the vehicle for regular service. When i visited the workshop for the 3rd time due to horn issue i was told there is no record of you reporting the same during regular service.

I cannot keep on visiting the workshop multiple times for the same issue as i have other important things to do. When you say anything about it then service manager always reply we can pickup and drop back your car. But the point is if my car will be in workshop for most of the time then why have i purchased it in the first place. I think i should have left it in the showroom itself and purchased a non honda car. This is harassment to me and my family.

I want my problem to be addressed immediately and a strict action should be taken against the workshop so that they do not do this with any other customer.
