[Resolved] CPP — Unauthorised debit | |
I am a very old client of your esteemed bank. Last year February I became the membership of CPP (Card Protection) and I have not enjoyed the same at all. I was on medical leave for the last three months from the office. During the mid-february this year, this membership has been expired. I was not interested in renewing the same and hence I did not correspond with this company at all. On return from my leave, I saw the brochure of the CPP on my table and on checking my ICICI bank account I noticed a debit of Rs.1848/- to CPP. I have not given any authorisation to anybody (either to you or to CPP for debiting or renewing the membership and nobody has contacted me for the same, how they renewed this membership and how you debited from my account. Also who gave the authorisation to ICICI bank to debit this sum at the instance of CPP. I want a explanation from the ICICI Bank as to who gave the authorisation to you to debit a sum from my account? This matter is very serious and I am taking this matter with your Registered Office at Baroda. Under the circumstance, Please let me have your explanation and arrange to reverse the debit with interest urgently otherwise I have to approach my legal expert in this connection.
