Credit Information Bureau India [CIBIL] — helping only fraudulent banks | |||
In my CIBIL report 15 digit account number was shown by SCB that i have defaulted around 3.5 lakhs. Term is shown as May'15 to Apr'18 not paid even single emi. It is surely not credit card number. When I filed a dispute recd a mail i won and credit score improved. After 10 days it is rolled back. When I escalated CIBIL said SCB is correct. Ridiculous. CIBIL are not verifying records of the institutions. I started to right mails to SCB customer care. They first send mail and this account could not be retrieved in the system. When sent mail again to SCB they informed 2 difference credit card numbers that I defaulted. It was not mentioned in CIBIL. When I requested for statement, they sent a statement without my address, contact details and no previous records and even last 4 numbers of card number was typed. Previous transaction details were not present in that statement. Even I have escalated the dispute with CIBIL they say SCB is correct. They couldn't even identify between credit card number and some other number. Now, I have escalated it to the next level of SCB and sent all the mails to CIBIL. But I am not sure whether they will take action against SCB. I have lost a home loan offer because of this fraud by SCB.
