Dear sir / madam

With reference to the above, i wish to bring to your notice that the 1.5t daikin inverter model air conditioner bought from your dealer chandra traders, on 26.04.2017 vide bill no. V/733/17-18 bearing serial number daikinftkp50rrv16 was repeatedly mal functioning.

1. I bought this a/c in the month of april'17 with free installation offer
From your dealer chandra traders and "snow city", daikin’s authorised service partner has done the installation. However, they have not given me an installation receipt at that time.

2. The above two complaints which i have raised were attended by another service centre "shri velan enterprises" and they claimed that gas leakage issue is there due to installation defect.

3. Since the date of installation i have run the ac continuously for the whole night *only twice* and on both occasions i was woken up at 4 a. M. With a siren kind of noise and showers of ice from indoor unit.

4. The first compliant was attended on 24/10/2017 due to ice formation in indoor unit but service technician said that ice will form if there is any dust in filters and he cleaned the filters and left the actual problem of gas leakage unattended.

5. After even less than 30 days on 21/11/2017 there was a ice formation and gas leakage issue again. That day also technicians were trying to misguide by giving false reasons, after insisting so much they have confirmed that there is a gas leakage problem.

6. After so many follow-ups with company people, on 22/11/2017 they have confirmed that the unit was installed by m/s snow city who is not their authorized service provider, hence the unit won’t get covered under warranty terms and conditions.

7. The worst part of all this issue is dealer is confirming that “snow city was authorized service partner of daikin at the time when i bought this ac, however, that service center has been closed now and company is saying that they have communicated to all the dealers not to get service from “snow city” in the month of january’17 itself. When i asked company people to provide the communication copy that they have sent to dealers, they confirmed that this communication has been made orally. How come such a big and reputed company share such a important information of “list of authorized service centers “orally to all dealers?

8. Further the company people has requested to for further “pressure holding check at my premises, and they have input 140 psi and within 8 hours the holding pressure came down to 110 psi. So, company person called me and said that they are ready to replace the outdoor unit considering as a special case. When i asked them to replace the entire unit they said that they can’t replace entire unit.

9. Finally, i have approached “consumer forum” and sent notices to below list of people through consumer care centre, guntur :

A. M/s. Chandra traders, #24/6, 100 feet tharmani road, tansi nagar, (Near cee dee yes super market, velachery, chennai-600042. Tamilnadu.

B. Daikin airconditioning india pvt ltd, f252, okhla industries area, phase-ii, new delhi-110020.

C. Daikin airconditioning india pvt ltd, new no.484, old no.580, teynampet, annasalai, chennai-600006.

D. Bajaj finserv, 3rd floor, kaba plaza, no. 27, l b. Road, indra nagar, opposite adyar bus depot, adyar, chennai, tamil nadu 600020.

10. After sending these notices on 09/01/2018, sri velan enterprises people approached me for allowing them to psi check for release of pressure. After nearly one month when they checked the gas level, the holding pressure again reduced to 80 psi. (Ac was not under usage as service technicians has disconnected the ac).

Immediate action expecting from company:

1. As gas leakage is a recurrent problem and is a very *major* issue (Need not elaborate and highlight the problems of this issue), the only thing i require now in my right as a customer is value for my money. I have paid a premium price for your product. Hence by every way i am eligible for a replacement of this product. (Both indoor and outdoor units).

2. As the product is under warranty i want immediate replacement of this product. Hence, i am approaching this appropriate forum for necessary reliefs.
3. This is the worst service i have got from such a branded company was not expected from a customer friendly quality conscious concern like daikin.

As the product is undef warranty, I want full replacement of both Indoor and Outdoor unit. After facing such a worst sercvice experience, now I don't want to take any kind of risk. If you see the mail chane, I have been asking for full product replacement as my right.

Kindly arrange for full product replacement or else will proceed further in consumer forum only.

With utmost hope i have lodged compliant in this portal. However, i have not received even a single call from DAIKIN Company people. It's very frustrating and annoying that company's are not responding against the complaints filed through CONSUMER FORUMS. THEN WHAT IS THE POINT IN MAINTAINING THESE KIND OF WEBSITES.

Consumers are getting CHEATED AND HARASSED even after paying so much of money by such a reputed branded companies then WHOM SHOULD CONSUMER GO AND APPROACH FOR TAKING ACTION AGAINST THESE COMPANIES.

It's very worst and pity that DAIKIN Customer care people are not even going through the case in detail and they are simply giving the same AUTO RESPONSE when i am insisting on FULL PRODUCT REPLACEMENT.

I hope no FOOL will get 50000/- worth product installed with LOCAL ROAD SIDE TECHNICIANS for the FIRST TIME.

I have bought this AC from Chandra Traders with free installation offer and unit was installed by SNOW CITY which is Daikin AUTHORIZED SERVICE CENTER earlier. The same has been confirmed by your Customer service people as well.

2. When I had a discussion with Company Manager Mr. Sarath he told me that they have informed all Dealers not to take any service from SNOW CITY.
3. However, when I asked him to provide the communication copy which company has circulated to all dealers, he mentioned that they have informed ORALLY.
4. Now company is blaming DEALER and DEALER IS blaming COMPANY.

5. This is completely MENTAL HARASSMENT for me, and I demand either to ask DEALER to give me REPLACEMENT or Company itself to REPLACE ME FULL UNIT.

6.I am really not interested in one outdoor unit alone, because both Indoor & Outdoor units should be of same series.

Please arrange for full REPLACEMENT instead of HARRASSING ME LIKE THIS.
