[Resolved] Daikin Air Conditioners / Daikinindia.com — please don't buy daikin - 1.5 ton inverter air conditioner stopped cooling | |||
Facing the same issue as many of the Daikin customers are. I run an Online Reputation Management company and I'll make sure I can make as many potential customers and AC review websites/influencers aware of the issues and hassles of owning a Daikin AC. I purchased 1.5 Ton Split inverter AC(FTKP50PRV16) 3 years back and AC has stopped cooling. I raised a diagnostic request on their centralized customer care no. Two days later, their service engineer gave me a visit and told me that AC needs a jet service worth Rs. 1350. After servicing (which I don't believe was required), the cooling issue remained the same apart from the fact that the hot airflow became more intense due to cleaning. Then, the engineer told me it is an ejector issue with the outdoor unit and he has made it direct. The issue was still not resolved completely and then the guys came to a conclusion that it might be a PCB issue which costs Rs. 5100 along with ejector replacement that would cost an additional Rs. 1800. They also said the parts are in waiting as many customers are facing this issue. I don't understand why a reputed company like Daikin is looting their customers in the name of faulty parts and frequent replacement requirements. If there is an issue with Ejector/PCB controlling my compressor speed, it should come under warranty as my compressor has a 5-year warranty. Was this information helpful? | |||

Same thing is happening with many daikin customers... first we buy the AC worth 40-50 k then they ask us to pay hefty amount for replacing the faulty parts.
We should seriously take some action against them... it’s the second consecutive year I have been following up with them, yet no solution
