Deccan Chronicle — garbage dumped in railway land which has been opened due to ongoing railway work
Near safilguda railway station, there existed a wall as a railway partition from chanikyapuri colony since years. This portion of the wall has been removed 3 months ago in order to carry out the ongoing railway works. But due to the sunday vegetable market this section of the road has become a dump yard causing the rise of increase in rodents, pigs and mosquitoes imposing health hazards to residents in our colony (Especially children). When contacted ghmc informed they would not be able to take any action as it is railway land. Request the higher officials to kindly do the needful keeping in view the kind of epidemic around. Help us to keep our surroundings clean and our families healthy. Was this information helpful?
