I purchased a Dell laptop(Inspiron 5490) in October 2019 along with additional 2 years warranty.
On 4th September, the display of the laptop suddenly stopped working. I tried to complain to the Dell as I though that it is under warranty. But the dell website said that this laptop isn't under warranty. I complained to dell social media support about this. Then they asked for original invoice copy of the purchase. Thankfully they update the warranty information in 2 days and fixed the issue.
Now, coming to actual problem. My problem is successfully registered and they created a dispatch ticket. The dispatch was supposed to happen on 10th of September. But nobody came. I contacted dell support, they said that they have contacted the service provider and they will get be to me as soon as they get any response.
The amazing thing is that it has been almost a month since then, and I am contacting them daily and they give me same reply that they are waiting for the reply of service provider. I wonder even they use pigeon for their internal communication, it won't take much time. Sometimes time to time, they say that they have escalated the case for my satisfaction.
Can someone suggest that what should be my next step. I am on the verge of loosing the job due to this. Was this information helpful? |
