[Resolved]  DHFL — unprofessional attitude from dhfl credit manager & my home loan rejection

I think the company, dhfl, has found a new way to mint money..

They give false promises to prospective clients & charge rupees 3000/- for loan file login.. The executive never state the amount is non-refundable..

Later they reject the same file without stating any reason..

In my case.. I applied for home loan with dhfl in the month of january 2018..

My salary being 20000/- with the mw group in dombivli since 2016 & my wife's salary being 16000/- with meher pharma in bhiwandi since 2016..

I was assured that, i & my wife, clubbing together, are eligible for a loan upto 18 lacs..

The executive thoroughly went thru my & my wife's profile & assured me of loan sanction within 15 days..

The executive advised me of pd (Personal discussion) with the credit manager at my office but he never stated any particular date..

The credit manager gave a surprise visit on 31/01/2018 in the morning at 11am.. He did not even bother of calling me before visiting my office..

I was on field with the clients at that particular time on 31/01/18..

The credit manager called me & stated that he needs some more information in regards to my home loan file..

I told him clearly that i will be only available in the office after 1pm due to month end pressure & i was busy with my clients showing them company project sites..

But the credit manager was not ready to listen.. He was adamant that i should reach my office soon..

The credit manager was very very rude & had no sense of talking professionally..

He was talking to me in loud voice in my office as if i owe him a debt..

I told him to wait for some more time & i will try to reach early.. Or else he can speak to my boss for any other queries he has..

But the credit manager left my office without meeting me and without talking to anyone.. And he never met me again..

Later after couple of days, another credit manager visited my wife's office for pd..

The credit manager started shooting non-relevant questions to my wife which obviously my wife could not answer..

I was highly surprised by the behaviour of these credit managers from dhfl..

They had no sense of dressing, talking & behaving..

I could smell something fishy..

Later after a day or two.. I got a sms from dhfl stating that my loan file was rejected even before my credit check & pd was done..

They did not give me any reason for rejection..

The same thing happened many people in my surrounding..

1) they assure you of home loan under any circumstances..
2) they charge 3000/- for loan file login..
3) they never tell to clients that the amount is non-refundable..
4) the credit managers never do pd..
5) the credit managers never call u for pd appointment..
6) even if they do pd, it will be only for the sake of their job..
7) without any reason they reject the file stating that the amount is non-refundable..
8) extreme nonsense from credit managers

I want my 3000/- back.. I know 3000/- is not a big amount..in fact i will donate 3000/- to poor or needy.. But i will not let these professional beggars to eat my money..

This should be stopped (Charging money for pd & credit check) because it has now become a huge money making business for these finance companies..
