[Resolved] Dish TV — Not providing services for the agreed period | |||||
I had bought a five year prepaid plan in the name of my son Abhijeet, in the year 2013. Recently as none o[censored]s were present at our house in Allahabad we did not know when they have stopped there services without any notice. On 22nd Jan, 17 evening we reached home we got the message through the TV screen that due to non payment the services have been stopped. During last almost three and half years we have come across with such a situation a number of times. Every time we had to call them and remind them of our plan and after wasting some time they used to restart their services. This time they took more than an hour to restart but only for three days. They claimed verbally that the pack was upgraded and as such the invested amount exhausted before the agreed period. They repeatedly go on insisting on it verbally but refrain from coming out with any proof. Since I am a Bank executive posted out of city, don't have enough time for this, chose to go for recharging under protest, so that my family may not suffer and recharged their Super family pack with sports Chanel for Rs.315.00315.00 per month and paid Rs.350. 00 on 25th Feb17 as advised by their authorised dealer M/S Suvidha Kendra, Allahabad. Just after a few days tto our utter surprise, notice of recharge on the TV screen started blinking once again. On contacting them we are told that as the previous plan was a better plan now it cannot be degraded. Now I find my self grossly cheated by them, who don't come out with account statement and distort every thing at their will. I just want justice and penal action against them. No use of writing because thrice I sent my consent/acceptance to [protected] your SMS to my mobile [protected] for "100% Cashback on Rs.250 Recharge" were replied "Your VC.[protected] Is deactivated" (?) Should I Pay first without assurance and get forfeited my money ? Please confirm.
