[Resolved] DishTV — 101 unsubscribed channel | |||||
I always pay for super family pack, and that's included few of my favourite channels, but last day I was watching tv suddenly EPG updating start and my tv was restart, after that I checked my channels and It was 101 error message. After that I talk with customer service and they told me few steps and unluckily that's not working and they told me that there is signal problem due disturbance of my antena, after that they suggest me techcian request. And I denied due to time problem. Tomorrow I go to my nearest service center and they installed my setup box with their antenna but it was not working, and they told me talk with their customer service through phone. And tidy I did many times and one of the customer representive told me that subscribe the channel then you can see your channels, I did, i also wait for 15 mins on channel number 999 and I got nothing. My time waste and again I called customer service regarding deactivating my add on (what I subscribed for my favourite channel) they told me that they can't because there is rule that until 30 days I can't deactivate my channel and again they suggest me for technicians. And there servicing charges is 170.00 Rs. I lost 75.00 Rs because I subscribed for " english entertainment " pack as they suggested me and I did and I got nothing. What is guarantee if I requested for technicians and if he can't solve my problem. Then what ? Was this information helpful? | |||||

I have recharged my DISH TV with new subscription pack At 16 feb 2019. But till the date my channels are not coming. Still it is giving "Channel Is not Subscribed" error. I have called so many times to costumer care but no one is replaying correctly. And I have tried all the methods to solve the issue. They just keeping call on hold for 7 to 8 miniatures and after that also they have not guide properly. They just want money that's it. They are not providing good services.

I have been calling customer care for the support and assistance with issue related with error 401-Channel not subscribed
I have paid for this channel already and not only this many channels both FTA and paid not working and it shows 101 Error.
When I contact customer care they are telling we have reset your settop box and changes will reflect in 15mins.
I tried waiting and waiting and getting frustrated called 2-3 times. They are responding back telling it can be fixed by technician @250rs.
This is most likely way of making money every 6months you get a problem from dish tv and you contact customer care and they will reply back telling a technician will assist you and if there is a need for replacement additional Rs250 will be charged.
This is a money making strategy from DishTV. Switch to any other service provider would ease the maintenance charges than Dish tv.

They all are cheaters. My cable operator of GTPL was pretty good.
