[Resolved]  DishTV — dish tv - very poor service and cheating /lies

Hi team - below is entire history of how dishtv handled my issue.. (Still not resolved). Below are the emails i have sent to dishtv.

Note - i haven't received any response back till date on the initial email dated 3rd may from them (Email response) as it will be documented so they only used to call me and when asked for written email (Response to my email) they reject it. Received calls saying if you want us to resolve this issue please raise another ticket and we will try to close it.

Emails to dishtv:

Hello team - as expected even after such a big email and so many calls with your customer care... Still no one visited for resolution.

The most interesting things is... I have received 3-4 calls from supervisors promising me that engineer will fix the issue on the day of the call.. Still no luck

I got a call from engineer on 4th may 2019 saturday morning, he took my appointment and told he will come before 6pm, as usual no one has visited.
I got another call on 5th may 2019 sunday morning, he took my appointment and told he will come before 6pm, same story no one has some.

Funny part is now, i got a call from one of the supervisor on 5th may sunday evening around 7-8pm.. Telling me that my ticket is closed and issue was resolved on 4th may saturday by engineer and are you happy and can confirm if my dish is working... What on earth can i tell him that laugh loud.

So pathetic service. No more discussions and calls from my side.

As a customer i have to inform you and it's my responsibility too... I have raised a compliant with trai with all the details about my service and how i was lied and cheated.

Thanks you for all your services. I am moving out of dishtv.

I want to express my utmost dissatisfaction on dishtv services, i am dish customer for 8+ years and the service which i got for last 2 months (March and april) is pathetic and disgusting.

History to substantiate my frustration and words used in this email.

March'19 - i moved into the new house and asked for connection shift, look at my ticket details on what all they have done and how many times i have called dish to fix it. It was a sensitive issue of leaving electric wires outside unattended which is so dangerous, however no accountability and responsibility to come and clear that even after several calls and talking to several supervisors. The only response i got was "we understand your issue and your frustration, we will take this on priority and get an engineer" thats it, that engineer never turned up. It went on for 2-3 days and at last i got fedup and arranged local engineer and fixed it by paying him rs 250/-. Reason is simple, mess was created by dish engineer however problem was for me and not to you, so you relaxed on it.. Right?

In this beautiful conversation days on the issue, one engineer did call me one day, asked me the issue and when explained him, he asked for extra money which i refused because it was unfinished work in the first place, engineer blackmailed me saying if i pay money he will come otherwise he will not come. The same day i have called dish tv customer care and spoke to a supervisor and told him what happened. I am sure you have that in writing (Ticket) and also in recordings of yours

Note - all my calls are recorded with dish tv, so you can go and listen to them if you feel above issue or statements where incorrect.

Next level of service in second episode which happened in april'19.

27th april (Ticket number[protected] my dish tv was not working, so called customer care and raised a compliant. To your normal procedure asked me to perform some trouble shooting steps and finally raised a compliant for engineer visit.

Waited till 29th, no call from engineer so called customer care.. As usual an apology and commit you will get a call in next 2-3 hours.

Waited till 30th, still no call nor a visit. So called again, again same story apology and commit you will get a call in next 2-3 hours.

Waited till 3rd may, still no call nor visit, so called again... This time i was told ticket is closed as engineer tried to call you on 30th and your number was not reachable... I have given 2 numbers, did the engineer call on both numbers? No one is able to answer because there is no such documentation... And reality is i didn't get a call on my second number

Reality is my number [protected] was not working on 30th due to network issues however my secondary number [protected] was alive and is with me. I haven't got any call. I don't need to lie on it as its my service getting hit

Secondary, don't you try calling the customer the second time on his primary and secondary after few hours or before closing the ticket??? Because you know you didn't resolve the issue as there was no visit.. Just one call and close the ticket and not even wait for next day and give a try and close the ticket? There is no answer for that from supervisor.
Same statements, we are very sorry and we will open the ticket and engineer will call you in 2-3 hours :-)

I was waiting for 3-4 days to get my service fixed however you cant even wait for 2 hours and give a call back to customer on primary and secondary to check??

Don't you think customer will be frustrated with such service???

I am still not hopping for any solution to this service, because i don't have any trust in dishtv now... 8yrs of trust was broken in 2 months with pathetic service.

To conclude... This note is a reality check for you and your services... Only to let you know how good service you are providing to customers like me... Will you still stick to the same company after so much of agony??? I am sure not, same goes with me too..

I will look for another service provider in couple of weeks time and move on for sure.

I will be very eager to look into your response, not that i will be happy to see it.. Only to understand how dishtv as a company responds to customers whom you have frustrated.
