[Resolved] DishTV — refund claim and collecting extra money without consumer confirmation | |||||
I have taken DISH TV connection on 23/10/2005. I am an old customer for last 12 yrs. Last one year I am finding lot of communication gap and very bad service. They are not bothered for customer problem. They are only serious to remind before RENEWAL DATE to collect money and about additional channels for extra business. The problem was on regular basis and it was my regular duty to follow-up with them. As per their advice I changed the STB (from them only) and after few months they advised to change DISH Antenna. That also i changed. Even though there was continuous problems. There was a period in last month (November) my family was unable to watch TV near about 4-5 days even though there was a balance in my DISH TV account. Hence I decided to switch over to other service provider and changed it immediately on 23/11/2017 as TV is the only media for entertainment for family members. Accordingly I sent an email to DISH TV to discontinue my service and refund the balance money in my DISH TV account. I also asked them to justify the extra amount they have collected months together beyond my package charges without my confirmation. Since 23/11/2017 till date I have written so many mails but they are not at all bothered about refund. As per package i am not getting three channels, every time they are telling pay Rs 200 service visit our technician will come and rectify. My question is all channels are coming why three channels are not coming and why i have to pay,
