[Resolved]  DishTV — refused to furnish cash receipt on payment

I have registered a complaint on Dish tv regarding the no signal display on TV on 13.10.2019. I have made it very clear that the problem is with Set top box or may be in cable due to lightening. I got a call back from customer care that the technician will visit for attending the same. The technician visited my home and makes the same statement back to me that the set top box is not working and needs to replaced the visit is meant for realignment of antenna which was pending from long back. He said that he would visit again tomorrow for replacing the same that is chargeable. Next day he has not visited may be he doesn’t had any complaints near to my location and the reason he quoted that set top box is not stock and also said that set top box and visit charges will Rs. 475. Third day there was no call from the local team and I have called and he said that he got the set top including an adaptor the total charge will be Rs. 625/-. I wondered about the way the customers are fooled and helplessly said agreed for technician visit. Then the technician visited and replaced the faulty set top box. While making payment I have demanded for Cash receipt. The reply was no from the team and I have refused to make any payment without receipt in turn the technician taken back the same retaining the faulty things there. I was shocked to see the SMS I have received from Dish TV that my problem is resolved. It is wrong from my side for demanding a cash receipt for payment. They said that if you need a bill again, a request is to be sent by Email and it will be sent by mail in the next month. It is wrong that there is proof for purchasing a product. The situation will be worse if the customer doesn’t have a knowledge of Email or such things.

It's been mental harassment to use dish tv service they keep calling continuously, in a day they call more than 15 to 20 times. Everytime if I say to block my number customer care agent says to disconnect the call.
