Domino's Pizza — cancellation of order post acceptance | |||||
I had placed an order with dominos pizza on 6th april 2018. Order number was 178. Post the acceptance of the order after about 20 minuets i got a call from dominos kompally branch telling me that they will not deliver the order as it was outside their delivery boundaries. I told them that i had placed the order entering my complete address and it the website accepted the order. But they were stubborn in not delivering. I then spoke with chandu who said he was the manager. His employee is is 453326. He also straight away said they will not deliver. And will cancel the order, and he did it. I wanted to speak to chandu’s manager but he said he is not available and gave me a number which is not available. Number he gave was for sai kumar and the number given was : [protected]. I have issues with a couple of things: 1) why does the website accept the orders outside delivery bound, even after entering the complete address. 2) why can’t the staff as a goodwill gesture deliver the order just 1 km ahead out of their bound since it is a mistake of their website and not the customer. 3) why does the refund takes 7 days. 4) why does the staff talks in a way as if they are giving the food for free. 5) they carry an attitude of you do anything but we will not change and nothing can be done to us even i[censored] complaint. I would appreciate answers to my issues and would want to see some actions to be taken. If such appalling behaviour continues i’m sure a lot of people will stop ordering from dominos.
