[Resolved] Domino's Pizza — regarding failure to deliver | |||||
Placed an order via call with dominoes, deen dayal upadhya branch, gwalior (Madhya pradesh), it was a prepaid order bearing order no. 201, place on 9th oct around 9p. M. The order was to be delivered to a passenger travelling by indian railways, crossing gwalior around 10.50 p. M. Due to sheer absent mindedness, and negligence of the delivery boy, even after having mentioned minutest of the details to him and being in constant contact with, the order was not delivered and hence missed by the so mentioned branch. Considering it just my misfortune and human error, i was polite enough with the respective branch and told them not to take action against the delivery boy, out of all, it was me who suffered, due to non availablity of food in train at 11 p. M and due to dominoes for failure to deliver even when time of 1.5 hr was given, still i was complacent enough with them. Now, the order that stood cancelled was supposedly should follow a refund from dominoes to my respective account, to which i was assured 3-4 days was the time limit. Till date, neither the refund nor any cancellation nor a refund processing msg has been recieved by me from dominoes india or whoever concerned. Even after repeated polite calls to branch manager, store manager and supervisor, no concrete answer has been recieved by me. All i am getting is sorry for delay, plz wait for sometime., infact now when ever i call, all i get is, we will get back to you in 12 hrs and no reply is heared by me from them. General dominoes goodwill policy states that, we are entitled to free order if order is not deliver ed in 30 minutes, i would like to ask, what type of compensation am i entitled to for not recieving a concrete answer and my refund from dominoes. Its more tham 9 days almst for the order that was cancelled.. As a customer who suffered and went to bed empty stomach due to non availability of food, and negligence. My image for dominoes and its goodwill is tarnished to an extent where i guess i would not think of people there as human enough to understand issues beyond artificial intelligence. As per current scenario, the people at branch are just giving false promises regarding refund and are playing "the mam, we are sorry card". But my patience level has now been losted, why am i supposed to be the one suffering, initially for food and then for negligence and now for refund.? Why am i paying price to trust dominoes goodwill? What is actuall Y my fault in this whole scenario that my politeness have Been taken advantage of?? I would request a solution to above grievance and not just an apology. Also if i am entiltled to any compensation beyond my refund. Was this information helpful? | |||||
Oct 24, 2017 Complaint marked as Resolved no compensation, no freebies, no goodies involved and also no coupons for the time wasted, but i got my refund, the amount i had paid for the failed order. Domino's Pizza customer support has been notified about the posted complaint. | |||||
