I have placed an order for Medical item online on 22nd November 2021 and item was packed and sent through DTDC courier and it reached Cathedral Road, Chennai branch on 25th November and I live just couple of kms from that location. The tracking number of this order is R43301256
From 25th November and till date, this parcel is sitting at the same location. I called the customer support this morning asking for the delay, I came know that there manpower shortage, Rain and Francise person unavailability as the reasons for delay. How come a courier company that states "Most Preferred Courier" can have this problem ?? There is absolutely no rains in Chennai for the past 3 days and it is even more suprising to know that there is Franchise pickup person in Mylapore that is heart of Chennai !!! and how come this company can be "Most preferred Courier " company. I raised a complaint today ticket number # 1397571 and came to know that it will be delivered on priority in 24 hours for a 2kms delivery. The best part is the customer service person said, it will take 24hrs to resolve the complaint after this parcel was sitting at their location for good 170+hours !!.
Would appreciate, if parcel can be delivered on priority basis.
