[Resolved] DTDC Courier & Cargo — non delivery/loss of article (s) | |||||
Being extremely disturbed, I am filing this complaint against dtdc. Recently i have purchased an item on online shopping website ebay.in. The item was sold by mr. Nihanth reddy, and was shipped from guindy, chennai. He shipped the item through dtdc with awb number - c80143655. The service was 'dtdc lite'. Now, it was to be delivered to my location, arambagh, west bengal (Pin code - 712601), but from the very beginning the 'destination' pin code was updated as 600078 (Guindy, chennai) on the website!!! The destination city was chennai as well on the website (Where the real destination is arambagh)!! Whereas my seller, i. E., the shipper of the article received a shipment invoice, where the shipping details were 100% accurate. But anyhow, the parcel came to kolkata on 18th of january, 2018. So, i was expecting the delivery yesterday (19 january). But yesterday, on 19th jan, 2018, the parcel again went back to chennai according to the tracking details on the site. Generally from chennai, it takes a parcel 2 days to arrive in my location via dtdc lite service. This time, 3 days have passed i haven't received the item and also i haven't seen a single update after 19th january, 2019. I don't know whether its a mechanical fault of wrong status updating, or anything else, i just wanna know how on earth can they do this?? And they claim themselves to be the "most preferred courier" of india! Its only possible in india, where these scoundrels don't have to pay for their blunders. What kind of donkeys are working in dtdc anyways? Hence, i am warning dtdc in straight words, that either give me my item soon or give me my money back!! Give me a quick response regarding the solution or i will rush to the district consumer court as soon as possible! Was this information helpful? | |||||
Jan 25, 2018 Complaint marked as Resolved DTDC Managed to Resend the item from Origin Centre and Delivered the item. Though Late, but better Late than Never. DTDC Courier & Cargo customer support has been notified about the posted complaint. | |||||
