E-Commerce (India) — flipkart unsubscribe non compliance

I recently tried to unsubscribe from flipcart using the link from an email product promotion they sent me.
When i press the link it takes me to a page where i am given preferences to not receive various of their promotional material but no where is there an unsubcribe option.
If this is not illegal it should be and if it is illegal, flipcart is infringing.
Even if you choose not to receive any thing from them, you remain subscribed.
By not having an unsubscribe they are maintaining a high level of subscription using people that have opted to unsubscribe but have not been given the option.
This must also be infringement of the companies act whereby they are exaggerating client base and therefore market share and etc.
