[Resolved]  Ebay.in — ebay deliberately harassing customers for raised claims and not following its own agreements and policies

Ebay is the most useless company. Never buy from ebay. They deliberately harass customers who raise claims. They do not follow their own agreements with customers.

Ordered a gioneee mobile charger which was delivered defective after many days on april 16, 2018.

Called customer care who said that you have to raise claim and that refund will be given by demand draft for cash on delivery cases. I showed them that their paisa pay agreement is saying that in case of cash on delivery, customer can opt for electronic funds transfer. But they did not agree even though he read the agreeement at https://pages.ebay.in/help/paisapay/user_agreement_Aug1_17.html (See point no. 4 and also see attached screenshot of relevant part of agreement).

So, called their grievance department and talked to mr. Ibrahim. He told me that claim department would comply with the user agreement and told to raise claim which i did online as per his assurance inspite of not getting any option for bank transfer while raising claim. I asked him to tell me about the steps to be followed for getting refund. He told me to wait and that the steps for refund will be intimated via call.

I waited for several days for call intimating me regarding the steps but no such call comes. On april 19, i receive call from a pickup boy asking for the product. He also did not tell me anything about steps for refund. So, i told him to wait while i confirm from the customer care that i am to give product to the right person as i do not want to give product to wrong person. While i was calling, pickup boy left and cancelled the pickup himself without my approval.

On receiving sms regarding cancellation of pickup, i called again on the same day (April 19) informing customer care and grievance department about this. They told that they will reschedule the pickup and repeated that i would get the refund via bank transfer.

On april 21, i was called and told to ship the product for getting refund!!
I told them that i am a layperson, a customer and would be unable to do all this. Why i am being harassed. Why they did not fulfill their committments to call me for intimitation regarding pickup. And why i am asked to ship the product when they have a courier company?

I asked all these questions from their manager, mr. Deepak and requested him to get the product picked up and give refund to my bank. But he refused to even write to system admin regarding this.

Now, from the start i am trying to follow instructions of ebay.in while they are not giving proper information, not following their own agreement and their manager is refusing to give proper solution to customer. They selectively follow their so called policies and selectively refuse to follow other policies.
