[Resolved]  Ebay.in — ebay people are fraud

Address:Agra, Uttar Pradesh, 282005
Website:www.ebay.in

Ebay.in people are big time fraud. Please do not trust any product event if they mark the product with ebay guarantee. They escalate the actual mrp of the product and than offer discount on it to fool the ignorant consumers. I have received a faulty product which was marked under ebay guarantee with return policy etc. Etc. The product on their website depicted mrp as rs. 4800/- and were selling it at rs. 2499/-. On receiving the product the mrp mentioned on the box was rs. 2499/- only. And the product was not working either. They had return policy of 15 days for the product. I had complaint about the product on the very day i received it but they did not respond logically on any of my complaint and kept passing the time and as expected after 15 days responded as the complaint period has expired. So i request every one to stop buying any product from such fraud website. Or can try the points mentioned by me themselves.

Yes. But all e-commerce websites are not doing so. I can blame eBay because the seller was certified by eBay under their eBay Guarantee category and therefore the website was themselves involved in the fraud. I am trying to escalate the issue to the concerned ministries and if I o not get a suitable remedy, I am prepared to file a case against the CEO/Owner of the company under section 420 and will discuss them in person of such issues when they will be here in Agra to get their bail. They treat all consumers as ignorant and fools. But if we are aware of our rights we can compel them to justify every penny they take from us.

It's a common trick to inflate the price of an item and then offer discount to fool the customers. This trick is followed right from street hawkers to e-commerce websites.

Yes. But this falls under fraud and unethical business practice. You can very well file an FIR under section 420 and show consumer power to these people.

Finally I have received a call from eBay team and some Akshay was there on the call. He has called up to say that eBay cannot help me in this case. On demanding their customer care head's contact details, he clearly denied to share any number stating that they are not authorized to do so. I asked him than why the hell are they sitting there if they cannot hear their customers. He was ready to share only the customer care number which every one here will agree that they are a not more than a bunch of fools who are just paid to read out a script without any divination to it. I request the readers on this forum to follow my conversations as I know how to bring such unethical business organisation fall into legal system and respect their customers and the law.
I am surprised the way eBay people are responding. I have failed to understand as to where and whom are you people trying to contact. In my several mails I have asked to share the contact person details whom I can call and share my concern, but you people are refraining to to share the contact details also. Strange.
People who come across this platform must have understood the hypocritical attitude of eBay. I live very much on this planet and I do not know on which planet these people are trying to reach me. Forget about reaching me, they are unable to share the contact details of any responsible person so that we may get in touch with them without bothering them to do so. But... Calling their customer care is like banging your head on wall. Useless people with no information.
