[Resolved]  Election Commission Of India [Eci] — complaint regarding application for registration of new voter (form 6)

I recently applied online for a new voter id card from Rohtas Nagar Constituency, filling the required form and uploading the documents (driving license for both proof of age as well as address and a passport size photograph). The BLO then called me and asked me to come to his office for the verification of documents, submission of photograph and signature, even though I checked online that the BLO is supposed to come to the applicant's home for such formalities. I went to the office to submit the copy of the documents (driving license, aadhaar card, MTNL Telephone bill) and photograph, but the officer denied the submission and asked to bring electricity or gas bill and class 10th certificate instead. I checked on the website as well as confirmed from the helpline that an MTNL telephone bill, aadhaar and driving license are valid documents for proof of age and proof of address.
