Election Commission Of India [Eci] — disruptive nota I

Nota must be abolished.
It amounts to wastage of valuable vote.
It equals to non participating in the democratic duty of citizens.
Practically it is useless because neither the candidates nor the election get any effect.
Except for maintaining statistical figures of nota, does election commission do anything practical by getting these nota figures?
Whereas by abolishing nota, the objective of election commission to encourage all citizens to participate in voting can really be fulfilled.
