Employee's Providents Fund Organisation [EPFO] — pf office hyderabad - rs.50, 000 deducted from my pf balance under ob adjustment

My pf balance got deducted by 24 continuous transactions with description: "ob adjustment - (Other_appendix_e)- auto adj
Trrno #~#[protected] mmyyy:82015 rejected aa
Emp request". Almost rs.50, 000 has been deducted. I have raised a grievance ticket: baniv/e/2020/27551
Can anyone help me in this regard? Why my money has been deducted and will i receive it again?

I have also received the same response from Accenture that "This is pension error case & rectification of ECR is under process in Department, that (-) Amount will be added in a pension account. So kindly wait for few days".

I have analyzed my old passbook and latest passbook and found they have deducted amount for FY[protected], FY[protected] for which the same amount have been credited back.
They have also deducted amount for 04/2017, 05/2017, 06/2017, and 07/2017 but till the date they gave not credited back.
This above deduction and addition is still fine but when you see your entries for FY[protected], FY[protected] and 04/2017, 05/2017, 06/2017, 07/2017, you will find all entries have been nullified to 0.

This means they have already nullified the amount and after that again they have deducted the same amount which is wrong.

Please check your passbook too.

I'm also facing the same issue and I can see a no. of "OB Adjustment" transactions in my statement, which has debited amount Rs.50, 000 from the balance

A lot of my colleagues and I are also facing the same issue.
Have raised multiple grievances and tweeted about the same but I don't think there is much that can be done given the quality of service of the EPFO .
Same issue with me as well.

Any one got the money bank? Is the issue resolved or still looked upon.

So, I raised multiple grievances and they gave different replies for each one and two of them were the exact opposites. So, according to my understanding, the issue was that my company(Accenture) didn't split the employer's share into the PF deposit and the pension contribution because of which they are making corrections now. But the way they are doing it is also wrong which could lead to the same situation in the future. I would suggest that you post the same thing on twitter tagging the EPFO, labour ministry and the Union minister for labour, Mr. Santosh Gangwar. Also, raise a grievance and in case they keep closing it. You keep on raising new ones.

As I understood, It is some issue with EPFO/Employer end, please suggest the next course of action.
Same issue is facing me as well, same thing is happened twice in past 6 months.

Huge PF amount has been deducted with multiple transactions (OB Adjustment) on the same day.

No worries, I am a former employee of accenture. I am also facing the same issue . When I contacted Accenture PF team They replied that "Please note that the PF office did some corrections in employees’ Pension records as per their eligibility. You are one of their lists, hence there are negative entries reflecting in your Passbook. Please note that there is no loss of your PF contribution here.
Please wait till MAY 2021 for an update."

Accenture messed up my EPS contribution as well and the entire PF fund of my whole career is inaccessible to me right now!
I can see 4 corrections in the passbook, hopefully this is for the same adjustment (although the amount deducted is far more than the EPS contribution for the tenure)! But I am not getting any response from Accenture PF team on this. Very disappointing from Accenture.
Can you help with any direct contact from Accenture PF team?
I am also an ex-employee of Accenture and there were mistakes made by not splitting the employer PF contribution into EPF and EPS.
I had raised this issue with Accenture PF team. Not sure if this is the correction to this. If yes, it will be good, at least now I will be able to transfer the fund to my current employer's PF.

I'm having the same issue and have received the following response from EPFO. Hope this helps and hopefully the issue is resolved soon.::

As per record your monthly wages for deduction of contribution are more than the statutory wage limit (i.e. more than Rs.15000/-pm) under the EPF Act . As per provisions of EPS, 1995 you are not eligible for membership of Pension Scheme . Hence entire 12.00 percent of employer contribution is required to be deposited to PF . But due to error in ECR filling the establishment has diverted 8.33 percent of employer share of PF and EPS . For correcting the said error establishment has submitted revised ECR and Revision of ECR/ contribution is in process. Once the ECRs are revised the updated status will be reflected in your PF passbook . For any other query you may contact your establishment

Grievance no - was raised for adjustment in my PF account not happened correctly.

(PF team response - correction process upto June -2017 is completed the amount is adjusted where company has not remitted contribution in Pension Fund. Correct entries has been updated on[protected] & reflected in passbook.)

I agree that amount needs to be adjusted in Pension Fund, but issue is not done correctly as per calculations.

As per history of passbook

Contributions from March -2017 to June 2017 is made Zero now, so contributed amount deducted here once as this was present earlier.

Also there are debit OB Adjustment- ( OTHER_APPENDIX_E )- AUTO ADJ TRRNO entries of same amount is deducted second time

But if see records in passbook only half amount is adjusted

I have again raised complaint with PF team to credit additional amount in my account this is adjustment so why at the end there is still deduction & not adjusted, because this is deducted twice and adjusted only once

Conclusion - Hope you understand making my contributions zero for March 2017 to June 2017, Also deducting same amount again via debit entries so it got deducted twice but PF office have only adjusted in my account currently.

check passbooks after adjustment amount is not settled correctly .

I have posted three compliants to EPFO but they have replied that these are adjustments & updated due to employer mistake
i tried to explian them they did incorrectly but they blantly reply everthing is done as per ECR process & updated

Guys...the adjustment that Accenture is doing is wrong. There is double deduction and single addition.

- The are nullifying the original contribution first.
- Then they are deducting x amount and adding x-1250 back. This step is correct. But this step with 1st step means, 2 deductions and only one addition.

Has anybody raised this with Accenture or PF office? Any response pls?

I have sent an email to Accenture PF team just now, will keep you updated when I get any answer.

No response from them...I have written 5 emails in last 1.5 months, with no reply for even once.
The EFPO Grievance response says, the employer has to correct that through some long process.
Apparently, the money is lost for good.
I request all who has faced this issue from last year, please enlighten all of us with what happened with your cases pls. This will really help to cool our nerves.

Worst case, I am readying myself for a legal case against Accenture. I am just waiting for this Covid thing to pass away.

I am also facing same problem and see missing entries for my contribution for the FY 2014 to FY 2015; more than Rs. 50, 000 is deducted from my balance. I have raised multiple tickets to Accenture but did not received any firm answers for this issue.

Please if someone who has EPFO contacts so can take lead and raise this concerns to right department with the help from all o[censored]s please?
