[Resolved]  Eureka Forbes — ants entering the storage tank

I have bought eureka forbes green ro two years back. Initially it operated well but after 3-4 months, i discovered ants floating in the storage tank. The service person just cleaned the tank and covered the lid with a plastic to avoid ants and insect enter the tank. From then it didn't created much problem. Last month servicing was done, changed all the filter candles and secured the tank with duct tape on march 31st, 2019 for rs. 1650. Today when i went to fill my bottle, the water was full of ants. I removed the tape and opened the lid to see the storage tank. To my surprise, the tank was full of red ants floating in the purified water. This is happening again and again in-spite o[censored]sing precautions like taping the tank which could be possible entrance for the ants.

Kindly give permanent solution to this. I googled this to find some solution but it seems that it is a common problem in this product. You are requested asap with a proper solution

Hello All, I have purchased Aquaguard Amaze model in October 22. And lately in December 2022 i noticed that the water is mucky and not clean. Since the water tank is transparent once can see something floating inside the tank. I got alarmed as i was drinking that water. I immediately called the helpline to raise the issue. After technician's visit he said that this particular model has issues and they have faced it with other customers too. He was helpful though and taped the water tank. But soon after a few days in January 2023 again the same problem persisted and i could see ants floating in the water. I raised the complaint again and the technician came back again this time he cleaned the tank and applied an even broader cello tape around the joint of the water tank. And just after a few days the problem came back again. I spoke to the technician leader of south Delhi Area and he said Sir, "you have to tape it yourself and keep it away from the ants."

I mean if you are spending a lot of money on the water purifier and since it is supposed to be a food grade safe product it supposed to be airtight and no insect should enter the product. Could someone see that this issue is resolved permanently and i don't have to face it again and again. thanks
