[Resolved]  Eureka Forbes — selling of aquaguard water purifier by eureka forbes representative on false pretext

On 23.12.18 we called on Eureka Forbes helpline no.[protected] for enquiry about water purifier. Within 2-3 hours one Mr. Rahul having Mobile no. [protected] contacted us and came to our residence in the evening. He gave us briefing and told that Aquaguard Magna Nxt UV will suffice our need. He told that the machine has 7 ltrs of tank and we can fill upto 14 ltrs in the morning upon that we told him that 14 ltrs are not sufficient as per our requirement so he told that we can fill another 14 ltrs in the evening so we booked the purifier. On 28.12.18 a technician visited our residence to install the machine and he told us that we can fill only 16 ltrs water in a day and if we fill water beyond that the candles will have to be changed after 6-7 months which was not told by Rahul, sales person at the time of briefing. Accordingly, we contacted him and asked him to take the purifier back and return our advance money in turn he seek time to meet us. On 29.12.18 Rahul came with his senior named Diwakar Jha mobile no. [protected] and told us that the candles can be changed any no. of times in a year in warranty period and after warranty if we will take AMC than also the candles can be changed any no. of times. Trusting upon them as they were representing Eureka Forbes we made the final payment to them. On 30.12.18 when we called on Eureka Forbes helpline no. to confirm about providing candles free of cost any no. of times In a year we were amazed to know that the candles can be changed free of cost only once a year within warranty or AMC as well. Accordingly, we lodged a complaint bearing no. [protected] for return of money due to non fulfillment of our requirement by the machine. On 31.12.18 we called Rahul to visit our residence in the evening time which he assured but did not came. When we tried to call him on his mobile no. it was showing switched off. Accordingly, we called the another person Diwakar Jha who refused of his given statement of 29.12.18. When we told him that we are going to lodge a police complaint against him for selling the product on false pretext he stated laughing and told us quote "sarita vihar se nikalte hain yahan tak hame kon hath laga sakta hai. Aaj ke jamane mein kon harishchand hota hai" unquote. He started threating us. On hearing this we were shocked to know that Eureka Forbes has started hiring persons like Rahul and especially Diwakar Jha who did not any fear of anything and openly threatened customers. As we are prestigious customer of Eureka Forbes since 2006 we were in the impression that Eureka Forbes is a well renowned company and employee persons only who are well educated and having a good background but hearing all this through Diwakar Jha we were shocked that the company now taking help of criminal minded persons to sell their product. Experiencing all this we have lost our faith in the company and request your goodself to take your product back and refund our money and take stringent action on people like Rahul and Diwakar Jha.
