[Resolved] Exide Industries — royal enfield thunderbird (500cc) battery replacement under warranty not provided on time
Purchased the battery 8 months back. Switch start stopped functioning in March, due to low battery voltage. Battery was given to an authorized dealer for replacement under warranty, on 30th March. Also a complaint was registered with Exide to follow up, on the same day. Despite daily follow up for past 4 days, there is not commitment given on the delivery. As the dealer did not provide a standby battery, the bike is unusable for past 10 days. Today, I have been told by the dealer that it may even take months as Exide has stopped manufacturing the particular model. Not sure how they expect the customer's to have an uninterrupted service !! I need an immediate replacement of Battery from Exide, also a standby battery from dealer until the resolution is provided.
