I have been sent a parcel from the USA via FedEx, AWB[protected]. Shipping charges were already paid. Now, I had to upload my KYC for customs and then, without any contact or information, after two days they suddenly mail and ask me to pay a bill of Rs.967, out of which Rs. 377 is the customs duty and Rs.590 is the "Duty Advancement Charge". Now, they did not inform me about the customs duty and even paid it without my consent to them to pay on my behalf. Moreover, they are charging almost 200% extra money for the payment. They did not take my consent while paying the money or inform me about such extra charges. I tried to contact customer care by e-mail for 4-5 times in the past 3 days but they do not respond. This company is practicing fraudulent business tactics and doing scam in India. I express my shock and disappointment on the sheer fraudulent and unprofessional service by a reputable company like FedEx. Was this information helpful? | |
