Fitness World — NON AVAILABILITY OF SPARES for TREADMILL under repair from last 3 months

I watch your program on regular basis and seek help to resolve my problem with M/s Fitness World. Noida. I had purchased a Treadmill machine of M/s Fitness World, A-43, Sector-63, Noida (U.P) from its Retail Dealer M/s Tonic International Showroom at Pacific Mall near Kaushambi, Ghaziabad. Treadmill Machine details: Fitness World Model – Z4, M/c Serial No. 20110822 F Total Price Amount paid: Rs 40000/- (Forty Thousand only) Date of purchase: 22.08.2011 Guarantee details: 6 Years on Drive Motor Our treadmill machine stopped working in March 2015. We placed an official complaint at Customer care with M/s Fitness World (Job Card No. 4240) in March 2015. They sent their service personal after regular reminders for 15 days. After examining the machine the service personal took out its PCB for repair and asked that it need repairing, rest everything is O.K. Again after more than five reminders the service engineer came on 31.03.2015 and placed back its repaired PCB in the machine. We made a payment of Rs. 2000 for its PCB repair inclusive of Servicing charges. At that time, they assured us that the motor is working fine and the belt as well. Next morning when we started the machine again, the machine stopped at once. Since then the treadmill has become idle for more than 2 months. It did not working at all. We placed a service request again. They came to examine the machine again after several reminders. This time the service personal after examining the machine told us that Motor has got defective and also the belt and both have to be replaced and PCB is also taken back again for repairing. As the Drive Motor of Treadmill Machine is under 6 Year Guarantee the same is need to be replaced free of Cost by the company. But the same is out of stock as conveyed by their staff and assured us that it will be replaced in about next 15 days time. However our complaint is still pending from almost 3 months. Unfortunately, even after more than 2 months the reply is same that Motor is out of Stock and will be replaced when it will gets available. No specific time limit is being given for the repair. Now after taking the PCB again they have neither come back with the repaired PCB nor is there any update on availability of belt or motor replacement. I fail to understand that such a big company does not have any arrangement for its spare parts??Also they do not have any proper service channel. I have contacted their Servicing Manager Mr Hemant contact no. [protected]. He also giving the same replies and no assurance of any specific time limit. For my problems, I have to call him again & again to take an update (which is never available) every week. I have to re-explain my problem but get no solution. I request CNBC Awaaz Pehredaar to provide help in solving this issue I have with M/s FITNESS WORLD, NOIDA. Regards. R. K.
