[Resolved]  Flipkart — attitude of customer care personnel

Re: order OD[protected]. I received the wrong colour (off white)in this order so i asked for a replacement in the correct colour (white). I received the replacement today September 17th but to my utter frustration realised they had sent me the same off white coloured item again. So i called the customer toll free number. A girl answered and she told me that she would help me with the return and refund procedure. She then asked me for my bank account number and ifsc code. I was confused as to why she wanted these details as i had paid with my debit card and the refund would be sent to the account of the debit card as usual and i told her so. She told me that the seller wanted these details. I was a little perplexed about this and became very suspicious as she asked me to give her the otp number on my phone inorder to confirm it was my account which i refused point blank. She then.threatened that i would have to send the product back on my own if i did not comply. I disconnected at that. It is very obvious that this person was trying to con me. The problem with flipkart is that you do not have a customer care email or chatting system. So the clients are at the mercy of these call centre people.

We have already provided feedback to the seller and will ensure, such a problem will not occur in future. Also refund is completed and it would be reflecting in customer's account by 19th Sep, 2018 as per standard banking procedure. Closing the case from our end.
