Flipkart — Damaged fridge delivered; inconvenience caused to parents

I received the whirlpool fridge on 16/11/21. The door handle of the is damaged. I exchanged my old fridge with the new one. The following guidelines, mentioned on the website, where not followed by the company:
1. No OPT came to my phone to cross verify the order.

2. In my address it was specifically mentioned that I live at the 2nd floor. Only one delivery person came to make the delivery and therefore my aged father had to carry the fridge to the 2nd floor.

3. Delivery person inspected my old fridge and took it. For installation, another person came and he opened the fridge. However, according to the policy given of the website, customer receives the OPT before the installation guy unbox the product. But no OPT was received.

Now my old fridge is gone, the delivered fridge is damaged and it will take around 10 days to make another delivery. I have no fridge and this situation is seems to be forcing me to accept the damaged fridge. My parents are facing huge inconvenience.

It is totally the negligence of the company. There is huge lack of service on the part of the company.

I called the customer care and I didn’t receive any promising solution, moreover I have been put on hold for around 40 mins. and then the call got disconnected.

I request you to make the delivery of new fridge and soon as possible and take appropriate actions against the employees who are at fault.
